Lost

Growling, that's all i heard as I scrambled through the undergrowth suffering many bruises and tears through my flesh. The slashing of teeth was all I heard until a sickening crack sounded through the woods. As a jolt of pain slithered up from my leg towards my back, and a shrill shriek escaped my lips, my vision faded to the color of the nighttime abyss. When I awoke my hands and legs were bound by rope. A pack of siberian huskies, alerted by the shifting of my body, pulled their ears forwards and curled their lips into a menacing snarl. Fear swam through my body as the space between my body and the snarling demons kept shrinking. The slashing of teeth gave me a sickening feeling that twisted my stomach inside out. I heard ineligible yelling as the dogs started retaliating. I started to struggle, as the horrible melody of footsteps on dead leaves got louder and louder. I felt someone grab the collar of my hoodie and roughly pull me up. I heard a sharp clang as the ' person ' in front of me withdrew a knife. A resonating rip echoed through the hellhole I was caged in. As I felt rope slide off my bruised wrists and my aching ankles, a rush of adrenaline surged throughout my body as I managed a feeble hit on my pursuer. " Now now girly, let's not be aggressive shall we?" A female voice whispered. I felt a feeling of exhaustion take over my body as a rag was pressed against my nose.

When I awoke " Great" I thought bitterly as I realized I was chained to a wall of cold steel that my back was resting on. The slow dripping of water coming from the ceiling and echoing as it dripped onto the cement floor of this damned cage drove me towards insanity. A sudden burst of light blinded my red tinted eyes. " I see you're awake ." said a gruff voice. I looked up and traced the voice to a figure covered in a cloak standing a mere foot away from me. The 'figure' then threw the cloak covering it's form to the floor, only to reveal a young lady with a sickening grin plastered to her face. Raspy screams escaped my body and reached her ears, the sadistic grin only grew wider. She whispered something to herself as the floor beneath me gave way. I fell onto the ruined cement floor while several snaps ringed through my ears, my vision growing fuzzy and slowing growing black. While she was unconscious I let out a whimper of sympathy, I trudged over to her barely breathing form and scooped her up into my arms and let out a heavy sigh. " Another human, once they fall I save them, then once they've fully recovered they disappear never to been seen again...". I rummaged through the pieces of broken cement and steel to find the latch door to my home, after a few minutes of tearing through the ruins I found the door and jerked it open. Jumping inside with the trapdoor trailing behind me it slammed shut. Walking through the dilapidated home, the form that lay curled up in my arms began to struggle, I looked down to figure out what was going on. Bright blue eyes met my pale red eyes. The girl let out a shriek of terror only to hurl blood onto my yellow sundress and faint.
