* Okay yall, im speeding this story up 6 years, so Promise has been born, she's 5 years old, Rae'Lynn graduated highschool and college on time all while being a mother she's 22, Kyro is 23, Rae'Lynn and Amari still bff's & they both still model, but Rae'Lynn owns a beautyshop, RayRay & the boys still stay in Cali while Rae'Lynn & Kyro moved to Atlanta a few months after Rae graduated. " Promise, stay still!" I whined. I was having a hard time putting Promise's hair into a ponytail because she wouldnt stop whining. She's such a brat & its all her dad's fault. " FINALLY!" i semi-yelled as i got her hair into a perfect ponytail. She stood up smiling like she just didnt give me hell. I smiled at her, "you look cute baby." I said to her. "Thanks mommy!" She said, running into her room. I put her on some black tights, a black longsleeve tshirt, a black bomber jacket, a black infinity scarf, and some tan uggs. Its November down here in the A, and its FREEZING!
I got dressed in almost the same thing as my baby with a olive green bomber jacket. I put Promise in her carseat & got in the car plugging my aux cord into my phone. "Where you wanna go princess?" I asked her. She made a thinking face. "SHOPPING!" She yelled excitedly. I laughed & started driving to the mall. For her to be so young, she loves to shop. I sang along to many songs before we reached the mall.
When we got in the mall, it was crowded. I sighed & grabbed Promise's hand. We went in alot of stores. Promise got way to many clothes and not enough shoes, where as i got a billion shoes & clothes. Promise picks up things & i buy them, but she never picks up any shoes so i do it for her.
As soon as i got situated in the car, Amari was calling.
Me - Yesss?
Mari - Where you at
Me - Leaving the mall with Promise, wassup?
Mari - Meet me at my house
I hung up & headed to her house which was literally ten minutes from the mall. I unlocked the door to her huge condo with the key she gave me. "Mommy, im sleepy." Promise said as i closed & locked the front door. "Is that my niecey pooh?" Amari came from the back in a huge over sized t-shirt squealing & grabbing my baby. "Tete, im sleepy." Promise said wiping her eyes. Amari went to put her down and came back to the front.
"Wassup bitch? What you want?" I asked Amari. I know she aint call me over just to chill. "Girl, nothing. I got some to fucking tell you obviously." She said rolling her eyes. I looked around with a im waiting look & she obviously didnt catch on. "Hoe tell me! Damn." She bucked her eyes & stood up with a smile. "Im PREGNANT!" She said, pulling up her shirt. She looked so far along. I covered my mouth & bucked my eyes, "How far?" I asked. "8 months." She said. I stood up, "8 months, Mari? You kept the shit from me for EIGHT FUCKING MONTHS?" She looked down & didnt say a word. "You look good for eight months. Atleast i told you a few days after i found out tho. I wouldnt keep something this big from my bestfriend." I said sitting back down, holding back tears. "Im sorry. I wasnt ready to accept it Rae. If it helps, its a boy & his name is gonna be Raylon." I forced a smirk on my face. "Im happy for you but i have to go." I said as i got Promise & headed home.
When i got home, i put Promise in her bed & went in my room & cried. How could she? If she kept a secret that big from me, what other things is she keeping from me? I know im acting like a lil girl crying over some so small, but that really just hurt me. My phone buzzed indicating i had a text. It was from Amari.
Bestfriend 🙄😍 - I know i shouldve told you when i found out but i wasnt even sure if i was gonna keep it. We were gonna give it up for adoption but i just couldnt do it. Im really sorry Rae ❤️

Totally wasnt looking foward to her comming over, but thats my bestfriend, i cant leave her hanging. About thirty minutes later Mari barged into my house being all loud using her spare key i gave her. "Girl if you dont be quiet! My baby tryna sleep." I whisper yelled at her. She covered her mouth, "my bad girl." She said. We talked for about three hours before she went to sleep on my couch. I covered her in a blanket & went to sleep myself.
I woke up to the smell of food and Promise's laughing. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and put my hair in a pineapple ponytail before going to see what was goin on. I walked in the kitchen to see Kyro cooking & Promise sitting at the island giggling at watever her daddy was doin. I sat next to her, waiting on Kyro to turn around & see me. "Mama, go get your momma up." Kyro said. "Okay daddy." Promise ran to the back laughing. I smiled. Kyro turned around with two plates in his hand, when he saw me he jumped..HARD causing me to laugh. Promise came back laughing and she dont even know what happened. "When did you get up?" He asked. "Few minutes ago. When'd you get home?" I asked. "Late last night. Then i took Mari home & came back. I got in the bed with you & held you." He said. "I don't remember." "I wouldnt either if i was sleeping as deep as you was." He said causing the three of us to laugh.
