Hermione's POV
Ginny wants to go on a big group date at some fancy restaurant. We all are dressed up at my house and waiting for the coach to come. I hear I screech and know the coach is here. We go into it and find, guess what? There's only room for ten people. Yay. Fred, being a flirt, goes "You can sit on my lap Mione" and patted his lap! Perv. I walked over to Faith and sat in her lap instead. We do this a lot so she is used to it. It takes a half hour in which everyone played exploding snap, except me and Faith we read TFIOS and the hunger games. (A/N I know they weren't written then but I LOVE those books so) We were crying a lot, laughing a lot, and during the Everlark and Hagustus parts, screaming "My ship has sailed" or "I ship it!" or "OTP! OTP!" We finally got to the restaurant after everyone looking at us weird. Faith, of course, acted all posh and put out her arm for me. The restaurant had a dance floor as well as a dining area, so after an hour of eating, we went to the dance floor. After a few dances Faith came up to me going "May I have this dance fair madden" I played along saying "You may fine sir" we laughed and started to do a waltz and other dances. Finally it was the switch song, where you switch parters every turn. I, which a big push from Faith who went to Ben, ended up dancing with Fred. Oh joy. By the end, everyone was dancing with there partner and me with Fred, Elizabeth didn't dance today. For the last song, everyone must switch partners, of the opposite gender as the DJ didn't like me and Faith dancing together,so Faith goes to Dean, Vivian goes to Ben, Ginny goes to George, Harry goes to Katie, and Fred leaves since he's 'To tired' Really he doesn't want to dance with a blond bimbo (No offense to anyone who is a blond. My one friend is) so I am left alone. Great. Suddenly a verry cute young man comes up and asks me to dance. I, of course, say yes, and we start to waltz. We start talking and I learn his name is Brett. He was a year older than me and went to Hogwarts. He was a Ravenclaw too. We have become good friends when the song is over. He leans in and I am about to back away when he says "Is that guy your boyfriend?" I look confused as I don't have a boyfriend and ask "who?" He points to Fred and says "He has not taken his eyes off you since we started dancing. He has also been glaring at me every once and a while" I blush and say "No. I really like him but he just thinks of me as his brothers nerdy ex best friend. I was locked in a broom cupboard with a mistletoe and him. I kissed him for merlins sake! And what does he do? Nothing! It was 3 weeks ago and this is the first time he has talked to me or even look at me since!" He looked like he understands and has been in a similar situation. He goes "Here's our plan to make him jealous and make a move on you. We act like we like each other by giving times to meet up, and act like we did dancing. All friendly, but they will think it's romantic Then he will get jealous and make a move. But remember that I am here for you if he gets really jealous and calls you stuff. Bad stuff" I give him a quick hug before we laugh and walk over to our friends. "Let's meet up tomorrow at 8 at the place" the 'place' is the Three broomsticks, but since we both love it, we are calling it out place. I give Brett a quick kiss on the cheek and a hug and go to the carriage with everyone else. All the girls start asking questions and going " He's sooo cute" and "Did you see that face of his!" Except for Faith who has a 'we will talk about this later' face. The boys stay out of it, but Fred looks ready to murder Brett. After that 'fun' ride, everyone goes home or to there room, and I explain everything to Faith, who says she will help us. Let's see how this plan works.
