There was a knock on Jamie's window that startled her and drove her attention away from her book. she looked at the window and realized that her best friend, Jackson was out there. she looked at her clock and saw that it was close to twelve. she got up out of bed and walked over to the window opening it to let him in.

"what are you doing here. my parents will kill both of us if they know that your here. are you fucking crazy." Jamie's words came out quietly and quickly hoping her mother doesn't here her.

"I got board relax" he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him. "plus I wanted to show you something." he walked back to the window and held out his hand for her. she hesitated for a second before taking his hand and following him out the window. her room wasn't far from the ground because she was on the first floor.

---

it was cols outside and her feet started to hurt she wanted to get there quickly so she could just finally take a rest. " where are we going? I feel like we've been walking for hours."

"stop whining were almost there." he grabbed her hand and held it tight. "God Jamie your hands are freezing!"

"It's fucking cold what do you expect!" her voice came out louder then she wanted it to. Jackson looked at her with big eyes he's never heard her shout. "sorry I didn't mean to yell."

"it's fine, were here by the way." She looked where they were. they were standing in front of a whole bunch of the woods that were near the town hall.

"seriously Jackson the woods. why did you bring me here this is like total horror movie moment right now." Jackson chuckled at her.

"don't worry nothing bad is going to happen. I wanna show you something. I found it last night I know you'll love it." Jackson sounded a little to happy about it. His voice got higher he sounded like a girl.

"okay mister if you say so lead the way to my death." he took her hand and started leading her through the trees. Jamie tripped over a few roots that were sticking out of the ground, and Jackson would just laugh at her.

"okay now close your eyes."

"if I close my eyes ill end up tripping over something and breaking my neck." She raised an eyebrow at him even though he couldn't see her.

"you won't trip trust me ill even carry you if you don't wanna close your eyes." She thought about it and then decided to close her eyes. she trusted Jackson.

he led her through and area that seemed to be covered in just grass, nothing else.

"okay open your eyes." She opened her eyes and couldn't believe what she saw. they were standing on a small hill surrounded by trees. she looked up and there was a perfect view of the night sky. the stars were as clear as ever she had never seen something so beautiful, so calming.

jackson sat down next to her and patted the ground signaling her to sit down nest to him. "this is so beautiful jackson. thank you for bring me here this is just wow." she said as she sat down next to jackson. she could feel him looking at her silence fell over them it was awkward but nice. she looked over at jackson and he was no longer looking at her he was laying down looking up at the sky.

"what are you doing." she asked

"I'm trying to count the stars. people say its impossible because there are thousands of stars, but nothing is impossible." a smile started to form on her face as she layed down close to him putting her head on his shoulder.

" how many have you counted so far?" she was looking around the sky wondering how many stars were really out there.

"35 but its kinda hard because you have small stars, big stars, and ones that are in the middle and they are all clumped together." she giggled at him she liked when he was drawn into something it was like a drug to her. she loved to see the huge smile on his face when he was talking about something he enjoyed or when he was just happy for no reason.

"are we going to com back here again?" her voice was calm she couldn't take her eyes off of the surrounding area.

"Jamie i plan to take you here every single night until the day we die." he grabbed her hand and never let go. she realized that he had been doing that a lot lately, and she liked it she could feel her face getting hot. was she blushing? she pushed that thought into the back of her head she couldn't imagine having feelings for her best friend, but then again just like he said 'nothing is impossible.'
