Adelaide at the top^^
It's finally Friday thank God this whole week has been a pain in the ass and stressful. This whole week I have been at home looking thru my mac computer trying to find a job and apartment but that didn't turn out so well. Condos in Toronto Canada are really expensive especially if you want to live in downtown Toronto.
I sigh to myself thinking how could a 22 year old girl like me is still living with my parents and is jobless I think to myself. "I'm pathetic " I say in annoyed voice.
"Wow Adelaide good job."I said smaking my forehead then rubbing it because I slapped it way to hard for my likings. "Are you that bored?" My best friend Dinah said laughing as she was walked into my house closing the door.
"What the hell? How the hell did you get in here?" I said curious and trying to hide my giggles by covering my mouth.
"Girl shut up we all know that your parent's gave me a key to there house." She said. I rolled my eyes at her stupidness. Dinah was a complete opposite of me first thing she was mixed with black and white she had blond curly hair with pale blue eyes that suited her really well she had a nice figure that matches her. Her personality was A1, she was always the nice friendly person until you do something to piss her off.
Dinah nickname back in collage was golden barbie because she had blond hair and she was perfect in every single way.
Well I don't blame them. Have you seen this girl?! I sometimes hate being beside her because I feel so out of places next to her like she's Cinderella and I'm the ugly duckling next to her. Yea I know I sound insecure about my features and the way I look but I can't help it looking at her then looking at myself just makes me feel so ugly. If we were to like the same guy and the guy had to pick one of us he would obvousily pick her.
Dinah always told me that I'm very pretty and if I wanted a guy that caught my attention I could get him but I didn't believe her because if I was "pretty" I wouldn't be single as I am right now and plus she's my best friend she supposed to make me feel pretty.
"Adelaide, Adelaide? Helloooo could anybody hear me" she said snapping her fingers in my face.
"Oh sorry I just zoned out for a little bit my bad." I said scratching the back of my head.
" What we're you thinking about." She asked curiously. "Nothing special to be honest." I said trying to change the subject. "You better not be putting yourself down." She said eyeing me. "Whatever man so are we still going out for dinner tonight ?" I said changing the topic and hoping that she changed her mind about going out tonight.
"Nope were not going anym-."
"Yes! Thank God I didn't feel like going at all. All I wanted to do today was get in bed rewatch The 100 with my nice buttery popcorn with my nice cold pop" I said already thinking about how the buttery popcorn is going to feel in my mouth.
"Uh no. I didn't get to finish my sentence Adelaide."
"Oh come on I already had the whole night planned out." I said giving her the puppy dog face.
" Well if you haven't rudely interrupted me we could of been changing by now and getting ready." Dinah simply stated.
"Changing? Where the we going? You don't need to dress that good for going to the movies." I said confused.
" We ain't going to no movies Adelaide." She said rolling her eyes.
" Then we're we going then? We better not be going to some next werid places you took me to last time." I said thinking back to the last time we went out.
