My eyes slowly flutter open, revealing my location. My ears are ringing, my body is sore. Where am I?
I look around, the ground I lay on is dark. Wooden planks? The wall is covered in a peeling, mucus-green colored wallpaper.
I get up, and turn around. I see a lump, wearing a sky-blue hoodie and ripped jeans.
"Dawson!?" I run towards the figure, upon reaching it I kneel down.
I turn the lump over, revealing Dawson's face. I shake him furiously.
Dawson groans, and slowly opens his eyes, looking at me. "Terrence?"
"Dawson! I'm so glad you're okay... what happened?"
"T-Terrence... I don't know... where is everyone?"
"I don't know... I don't know..."
I helped Dawson up, and we faced the long corridor.
"I guess we gotta go, behind us is a dead end." I say, a sigh following.
Dawson nods in agreement, then we head down. We turn a corner, nothing in sight. It looks exactly like the other hall, no windows, no nothing.
"Hmm..." I start as I turn to Dawson, who appears to be staring at something. "Dawson?"
"Look.." He whispers, pointing towards the end of the hall.
"Is that... Rachel?"
"Oh my god! I hope she's OK!"
The two of us run towards her, Dawson gently shakes her shoulders.
"H-Huh...? Terrence, Dawson?" Rachel pauses for a moment, but her expression becomes shocked, "Where's Violet?"
"We don't know yet, we don't even know where we are." Dawson explains, "We woke up here, even though there seems to be no door."
"T-This... this is all too much..."
"Rachel, I know, but we need to find the others."
"Dawson's right, there were twelve of us, as of now there's only three."
Rachel exhales, but gets up. "All right..."
...
...
...
"Hey guys!" A perky voice from behind us says.
Rachel perks up, "Violet!"
We turn around, Violet stands at the end of the hall.
A smile appears on her face, ear-to-ear.
"Let's play."
Violet's dark brown eyes had a faint red glow in them, one thing was for sure.
This wasn't Violet.
"Run!" I heard Dawson's voice shout.
The 3 of us ran down the halls, but they never seemed to go anywhere. It all felt like one big circle.
"I... think... we lost... her..." Rachel said between heavy breaths.
"I hope so," Dawson whined. "Why did she chase us?"
"That wasn't Violet... There was something different."
"What do you mean that wasn't Violet, Terrence? That was Violet!"
"Rachel, Rachel, I know. I mean, it wasn't the real Violet. It was just wearing her, I guess..."
"I think he's right, she had this... look, her eyes screamed murder..."
I sat on the wood floor, thinking. About what I'm unsure.
Dawson sighed, looking around. "Is there an exit? There's gotta be..."
Rachel walked towards a wall, examining it closely.
Her eyes widened as she reached out to touch something.
"Guys... th-there's... blood!"
I snapped my head towards Rachel, "What?"
Dawson dashed over to Rachel, "N-No..."
"It's still fresh."
I jump up, "This hallway isn't safe. We need to move."
"Terrence, you're right, let's go."
The 3 of us mindlessly walked, until we reached a crossroad.
"Forward, left, or right?"
I looked at Dawson, "Oh god... I don't know..."
Rachel looked up, "Alright."
"Let's go..."
