A/N: This story is my first attempt at a werewolf fiction so criticism and compliments are much appreciated. However, a warning to those of you who don't like blood and gore, violence of any nature, explicit sexual scenes, or homosexual couples. This story contains a fair amount of those four things and, then some so no reporting, if you can't be mature stop reading now. I thank you all again and I hope you stick with me throughout the duration of this story. The gorgeous young man above is depicting Vincent Green. I hope to represent all my characters throughout this story. 😊

Vincent's P.O.V.

Pale shimmers of predawn light filtered in through the forest green curtains draped over my windowsill. I couldn't stifle the slightly pained groan that slipped past my lips as I arched on my bed effectively cracking my spine with satisfying pops. I blinked open my deep, violet blue eyes and tiredly scrubbed them free of sleep as I rose from my bed stiffly. 'Damn my back is aching...gotta lay off on my workouts I suppose,' I thought before sliding off my pajamas.

I began my morning routine of dressing for school and preparing for my extracurricular activities. Ambling down the stairs in my white socks I was nearly accosted, from behind, by a swiftly moving hazel blur. "Watch it, Abby!" I snapped as a bushy nest of caramel curls peeked back around the corner at the base of the stairs.

"Oh! Sorry, Vince," her sweet voice tinkled in my ears as I reached the bottom of the staircase. I scowled reproachingly at the petite girl as she cringed away at my glare. "I'll try to be more observant next time, brother," she murmured quietly, as she made puppy dog eyes at me, with her sky blue orbs flecked with spring green. I tried to will myself to resist the look, but utterly failed before sighing. "Just be careful or you'll seriously injure someone," I said as I was smothered in a brief hug.

"Thanks, Vince, see you after soccer practice," she called over her shoulder as she bolted through the kitchen grabbing her bagged lunch as she went. I just shook my head with a small smirk stretched across my face from my baby sister's childish
actions. 'Hard to believe she's already a freshman in highschool sometimes,' I thought as I
proceeded to grab an apple from the fruit bowl.

Taking a hearty bite into the succulent flesh of the fruit made me give a pleased groan as the delicious juices cascaded down my throat. "Nothing finer than an apple," I murmured adoringly to the aforementioned fruit as I took another generous bite from it's russet sheath. Tossing the remnants of the apple into the waste bin I grabbed my bagged lunch from off the countertop before heading towards the door. "Bye, Mom, see you after practice," I called over my shoulder knowing that she'd hear me from wherever she was hidden away.

Opening the door and stepping out into the crisp, refreshing winter air chilled my cells in a
pleasurable way. As I stepped down onto the alabaster snow covered landscape I deeply
inhaled the diverse scents surrounding me. The earthy smell of tree bark under mounds of pearly snow, the refreshing scent of the early morning air, and the intoxicating scent of newly growing life come springtime. With barely contained pleasure I broke out into a delighted run before shifting and landing gracefully onto my paws. My ebony coat contrasting brilliantly against this wintery canvas created by the heavens.
