Chapter 4

“No one can take away your pain, so let no one take away your happiness”

It was an early morning call that Bianca received. “Hello?” she answered.

“Bianca! It is me mom, guess what? I’ve good news for you!” Her mom said on the other end of the line.

“Mom, what is it?” She asked.

“I met this eye doctor who can help us with your surgery; we’ll be meeting with him this coming weekend. I’ll go pick you up tomorrow,”

“Really, that’s great, I’ll tell Hannah, bye mom!” Bianca said and hung up.

Bianca told Hannah about the doctor her mom met, as well as the surgery the coming weekend. However, the person Bianca cannot wait to tell this to is Niall.

“What’s your good news?” Niall asked enthusiastically.

“My mom met this doctor who can help me see again!” She exclaimed. Niall was so happy that he could not refrain from shouting and hugging Bianca. “However, I’ll be leaving tomorrow, the surgery will happen this weekend.”

Niall suddenly stopped. “That fast? You’re leaving that fast?”

“I’m sorry; I don’t have anything up to tell my mom. But I know you understand, right?”

“I understand Bianca. I’m really happy for you,” He said and held her hand tightly.

“I cannot wait to see you soon,” She said.

“I’m excited to see you after that too, hope you won’t walk away after seeing me,” Niall joked and they both spent the afternoon planning on where to go after the surgery.

I am so glad that Bianca will get the chance to see. I cannot help but feel proud of her. After long years of being able not to see, she will be able to experience it now.

“Bianca, I want to be with you during the operation,” I told her. She stopped and looked a bit confused.

“But, are you sure about that? Don’t you have any business to do?” She asked.

“Well, I’d want to be there to cheer you up! I want to be there before and after the operation.” I explained.

“Then I’d be glad to have you beside me,” she smiled.

Now all I have to do is have my permission from the other lads. I’m afraid they would not allow me to go. I waited for them at the sofa. One by one, they all came back and I called for a small talk.
