Her eyes had always captivated him. They had since the first day they met by the dark wood. They had been so bright and curious that day. Now they were dull and filled with tears that would never be shed. Her blonde hair was sleek with the rain. His hands with her blood. She had loved him. Told him so before the trigger had been pulled. He was alone now with only her little sister to care for. He made the promise and intended to keep it. And as the blue eyed wonder took her last breath she spoke four simple words
"See you at the gates"
