Now I am a strong person, but this guy was really strong! He was dragging me down and eventually I just stopped struggling because it wasn't working and at this point if he did let me go I would run out of air before I got to the surface. So I pouted.
"We're going to my house." He said
"You are a creepy." I replied. I wasn't to worried though it's not like he could rape me he is half fish... I don't even know how they have children... Eggs I guess. Anyway it seemed like he had been swimming downward for about two hours when I saw some gleaming thing in the distance.
"Why are you kidnapping me anyway?"
I asked.
"Because you saw me"
"Yeah well I wouldn't of seen you if you hadn't come up behind me!" I snapped.
"No, you say me before that." He said
"I thought you were a shark. I would've left. Are you going to keep me down here forever then? I'm not a mermaid and I don't you to touch me the rest of my life!" He didn't reply. We just kept swimming down. We were nearing some sort of castle. It was really large but there weren't any other merpeople roaming around. I found that odd.
"Where are all your friends?" I asked
"Hunting. Or doing their jobs, it's nearly noon so everyone is working." He said. The word hunting got me.
"How come you aren't doing your job?" I asked he didn't answer. He talked less then me.
" if you don't answer my questions I'm going to let go of you and die." (I was worried he would stay silent again)
"Fine!" He replied immediately "I don't have a job."
"Why not?"
"I just never got one." He said glumly
"Well I haven't had a job yet either. My dad was a lawyer and saved all his money. So far my mom has only spent half of it on boos." I said. He looked at me very confused. I guess they don't have fun parties in the middle of the ocean. "So am I going to live here forever?" I asked .
" I don't know" he said "stop asking me things I don't know." There was an edge to his voice. I didn't reply. He would only make me mad if I did. Suddenly he stopped swimming. It felt weird since he had been swimming for so long. I looked in front of me instead of staring angrily at his head. In front of me was a giant castle. A blue green glass type of castle. If you looked at it from far away though it would look like a rock. There were lots of tiny homes and shops scattered beneath the castle. Just imagine the most beautiful sea glass you've ever seen. That's what the castle looked like. With tall pillars. It was bigger then a high school yet cozy at the same time. Suddenly fish boy spoke.
"Welcome to my house"
