As I was making my way to the coffee shop to meet Isa I could not stop thinking about Paris and his angelic face. I seriously had to stop because he most probably had a girlfriend. This made me very sad because he was a complete stranger but I had never felt this way about anyone. Of course I had boyfriends before but I never made a connection that was strong enough and it usually ended up in me dumping them. It had been 10 minutes since I had met him and I was already making up scenarios in my head on bumping into him and about the topics we would potentially talk. I didn't even know the guy! I had to talk to Isa immediately.
As I walked into the cute cafe, the smell of sugar and fresh coffee, made love to my nose.
I spotted my best friend in her tight ballet bun. I hugged her from the back and kissed her right cheek. She was sitting in our usual spot close to the window where we could see the New Yorkers rushing away. I sat across her.
"Sorry I am late, but you cannot believe what happened!" I exclaimed.
She made a face of confusion.
"You are so forgiven, but tell me what happened!" she said curiously.
"Remember how I told you that someone new was moving across the hallway?"
"I don't see the relevance in this for your lateness."
"SHHHH just listen. This beautiful, beautiful guy moved across the hall. He is so attractive, almost in an angelic way, and guess what!"
"I don't know?" Isa said very unimpressed.
"He is having a party and he invited me! He also said that I can bring a friend! So you are definitely coming." I finished excitedly.
"Are you ok? You didn't hit your head or anything right?" Isa said and put her hand on my forehead as if she wanted to check if I had a fever.
"Isa I am ok, it is just you would also be as stunned as me if you have only seen him." I said and sighed. This was so not like me and she knew it. It's not like I was this picky girl but I usually never fangirled on any guy before as much as I did for him.
"You are a heartless bitch with guys, what happened to you?" Isa made a face.
"Gee thanks best friend, love is mutual." I said, but I knew she wasn't lying.
Maybe I really was getting horribly sick.
"I really want to see this guy, if he is making you such a girl plus you never know if he has any hot guy friends." She smiled at the end and winked at me in a devilish way.
I laughed and shook my head.
We grabbed some cupcakes and coffees to go and started to make our way to the dance studio.
When the second night of the Swan Lake show was over my muscles were dying for me to stop moving and just be in bed but I knew that I had to attend the after party of the dance company.
I took off my bun, the heavy stage makeup, and the costume and went into one of the showers that looked the less ratchet off all that were in the dressing room.
I took a quick shower that helped both me and my muscles to feel a little better.
When I got off, I left my hair to air dry and decided to do some makeup to make myself look presentable in front of all the guests and the important ballet directors. I applied some light foundation and did a cat eye flick that opened up my eyes and made me look like I actually cared about this thing. I finished my look with some mascara and red lipstick. I put a mini strapless black dress that hugged my curves and with black minimal strap heels. My hair was now fully dry and the waves of it looked rather good for once.
As I walked out of the dressing room, I saw Isa talking and looking gorgeous in her gold mini dress. I walked next to her smiled at the people she was talking to.
"Well it was nice talking to you, and I am glad you guys loved the show!" She said politely and smiled one of her charming smiles.
"Wow best friend you look beautiful!" Isa chimed.
"Thank you! Same goes to you!" we both laughed.
As I was hunting for the food table (such a ballerina), my eyes saw the fair blond, almost white, hair that haunted me since this morning. Maybe I was hallucinating.
Until the head turned around and the bluest eyes met mine again.
We just stared at each other for about 3 seconds.
He smiled at me and dragged a hand through his hair, looking rather shy.
He started to walk towards me.
I started to walk towards him.
We met in the middle.
