Written Words

Why must my trust always be broken?
Is it so bad I wanna trust someone?
To feel they aren't lying to me.
That they'd tell me anything no matter how bad.
Is it bad I actually want to depend on someone?
Someone I can trust without a doubt?
Someone I can lean on 24/7?
But who cares what I want.
Because trust is always broken,
One way or another.
Whether it be by a secret.
Or not there when you need them.
Breaking something important to you.
A promise that was never fulfilled.
A special nickname just given away.
Trust is bullshit.
Because no one deserves it.
And no one ever will.
