Mission Impossible?
Have you ever sat between two fat ladies in the bus? Ugh its almost impossible to move, but when you get to your destination, it'll all be over.
Likewise, the kingdom of heaven. We as followers of Christ will go through trials and temptations, yes we will. But if we can endure till the end, the kingdom of heaven will be ours. It says so in Matthew 5:10.
This verse helps us understand that though we may be treated badly for doing right, speaking the truth, telling people about Christ, but it won't last forever. Our reward is The Kingdom of Heaven!
It might seem impossible to live a Godly life, but as we grow in Christ, we begin to despise sin and love God's word. We'll begin to obey his commandments. Truth be told, it really doesn't take anything away from us when we observe the things of God, rather, it draws us closer to Him.
The gate to life is very narrow, and the road that leads to it is hard to follow. Only a few find it.
Let's make up our mind today to be among the few that find that road, that way of life that pleases God.
