A/N - I listened to Wind In Sails, basically, the entire time I was writing this. So, if you want, I've provided a link to the playlist. (See the external link button above the comments section.)

"This one hits me close to home
And it's a shame that I
Had waited for so long to tell you just how wrong it felt..."

You didn't see the point in giving him another chance. The pictures on his phone, the texts - everything was proof enough of his infidelity. For such a clean man, Levi sure played dirty. You'd had suspicion for a while of his adulterous ways; his late 'work nights', the faded hardly noticeable lipstick on his collar, and the scent of perfume in his hair that wasn't yours.
You just hadn't wanted to believe it.
It was sick.
Levi had laid, cuddled with you in your shared bed, talking about your future together with such innocence.
It was all lies.
She's so fucking innocent, one of his texts to a 'Lexi' had said, the stupid girl doesn't suspect a thing.
But you'd suspected him, that's why you built up the wall that Levi was just starting to see. That's also why you were sneaking a peek at his phone while he was in shower. Normally he'd take it with him everywhere, but he had forgotten it today.
So why not use it to your advantage?
Sighing, you shook your head and replaced the phone on Levi's bedside table. Pathetic man, you thought though there was a lump in the back of your throat. You hissed air through your teeth as you pushed back burning tears and stood, sickened now at your bare state. You'd let him seduce you - that seemed to be the only time you were useful.
You were absolutely disgusted in yourself.
Quickly, you dressed and pulled your fingers through your tangled hair. You dug out two of your travel suitcases from the closet, and then set to throwing all of your things into them. The deed was done within fifteen minutes. As you signed your name at that bottom of the note, the water in the master bathroom shut off.
You placed the slip of paper on his phone with a shaky hand, muttering, "Goodbye, Levi. I love you."
You then ran from the room, grabbing your keys (having already tossed your cases and purse in the car) and slipped in your vehicle.
You stared at the rancher style house, with its squat front and natural stone covering. You gazed at the wide, deep front porch with the swing; you two were on that swing the first time I love you was uttered between you. You looked at the brown shingled roof, which matched the dark brown garage door that was covered by a pergola with clematis climbing through it and went with the beautifully done stone path from the driveway to the house.
You were going to miss this place. You and Levi had a lot of memories here. It'd been your home the last two years, even if Levi hadn't asked you but moved all of your stuff into his house while you were at work.
For what seemed like the hundredth time, you shook your head and sighed. Backing down the driveway, the tears tried flowing again. If you had your way, this would be the last time. Pulling out into the street, you took a right towards town.
Where you were going, you didn't know.
But it was away from Levi.
