The Sign

I am the sign of hope and faith,

I represent courage and promising fate,

I will protect them for your precious sake,

Though their souls shall lie awake;

I once saw innocent bodies sprawled on the ground,

I vow to keep them safe and sound;

I dread to think of what I saw,

The scarlet red that flooded the floor;

That was the blood that made me....

The sign of the poppy , not a very long poem but it still has meaning that i hope all will understand.

thank you to all those soldiers who gave their lives for us , we should be grateful and should remember their deeds. this goes out to all those who gave up their life for us . Although they have given up their lives they can at least rest in peace with their heads held high for they are noble and respected . We owe them so much more than we give .

A small but respected sign could be to bow our heads and think about them for a minute when the time is the 11th hour of the 11th minute of the 11th day of the 11th month .

Please be respectful , show you care , no matter how small , show you care .
