Chapter 1: The New Kid

I was a new kid in town, I didn't really no anyone let me tell you about myself, I am David I moved to Trenton, New Jersey after my house burned down I didn't just lose the house when it burned down my dad got trapped in and now I don't have a dad

Due to me being 15 I had to go to school, I was very introverted so I did not have many friends before, So these next few months will be a nightmare (It was March)

These next few periods i was very shy and stood away from everyone but then lunch came  around, this was my chance to make some friends until I was tripped by a musclehead named Ted
"What a loser!" he told me
"What's your problem?" I screamed
He picked me up by my shirt and was about to punch me when suddenly...
"Hey f*ck off, Ted!" said a female voice
"You're lucky." he threw me down to the floor
"Don't worry he always picks on the new kids."she said helping me up and leading me towards HER table
"Hey guys this is..."
"David"
"That's Nigel,Iyla,Ryan,Gary,and Ed and I'm Henrietta" she said
"Nice to meet you g..." I said stopping as something caught my eye
A kid was over at a table alone He looked very sad so I thought I should talk to him
"I'll be right back"
I got up and talked to the kid
"David,you're in danger."
"What?"
"Beware of the grin."
What the heck?
I walked to the table I was at and never talked to that kid again
