Did you know that a lightning Strike is as hot as the surface of the sun? But it strikes at the speed of light, which means if you blink right as it strikes you wont see it when you reopen your eyes. Lightning is formed from electrostatic discharge during an electrical storm between electrically charged regions of a cloud.
OH speaking of lightning. Its actually a super heated plasma, not a solid or liquid, a plasma is the state of matter between liquid and gas. Being struck by lightning isnt always deadly but I wouldnt want to be in the middle of a field to test that out.
