Chapter1:-

And I left the house to go straight to the airport; I need to catch my flight. Ugh! That contest! I wished I could stay with my family for this summer, but obviously I can't I have somewhere else to be, HOLLYWOOD! Yeah, absolutely big and amazing but I'll really miss my family. Specially this year, since they were going to Miami.

We live in New York and we decided we should spend the summer in Miami this year, which is so exciting but that contest showed up out of the blue. Auditions to be the new STAR! If you're lucky enough like me, you'll find a silver card inside Hershey's and you're in! As simple as that. It was a chance for me to let out my inner talent. There are 23 silver cards which means 23different contestants, including me, are auditioning.

The competition consists of many stages or rounds, if you are good then you can go out to the next level, failures in the first round will be directly out, failures in the second stage get another chance and so on...........

As I wait in the airport drinking my Starbucks iced mocha I hear them calling my plane. I turn off my phone and head out.

Finally after the plane landed, I got out, got my bags, and rode a cab to Hollywood's camp auditioning! I got into my room to find 3 beds but I saw only one girl, I thought the other one must be late. I was too tired to introduce myself, I just looked at her and directly crashed into my bouncy comfy bed.

I wake up in 6 hours, well I guess I was too tired, maybe a little too much. I wake up to find that girl, my roommate, looking at me like I'm an alien, I jumped up from surprise causing her to lean backwards. "Hi," she said. "I'm Aria Gibson, you?" "Oh hi, I'm Riley Berkley, I'm 16, nice to meet you." I replied. "Nice to meet you too, I'm 15. Can I consider myself your guide here??! You don't seem like a Hollywood girl, you don't live here do you?" She asked. Ms. Know It All, I thought. She was sort of bossy and all but I don't think I had a problem with that.

"Yes, please, I live in New York, I know nothing about Hollywood but I know all about singing, that's the only reason I'm here." I answered. "I came here to by the help of that silver card to audition my acting. It has always been my dream to act." She said with a smile. I just went to the bathroom and took a quick shower to refresh myself. "When do the auditions start?" I asked as my voice echoed through and out of the bathroom. "At nine, so be ready gotta make a first impression," she answered politely.

I got out of the shower and before I could realize, it was already 7:30, which means I had to get ready for my auditions, I wore a blue dress that was above my knee that totally brought out my eyes. And a tiara on top of my straightened, beautiful hair, and sandals with small heels. I was ready by 8:50, which was a perfect timing. I looked at Aria to find her wearing a pink tank top and a cute jeans miniskirt with a 5-inch high heels. She looked cute in them in my opinion and I could give her a bonus for her curled hair that was perfectly done.

We went to the auditioning building and found some seats. We started chit-chatting and in the middle of the conversation she mentioned something about celebrities attending our auditions....I paused for a second and I was like, "Whoa, hold it right there, do you mean we're not going to be judged only by the committee??" "Yeah, celebs are judging too, it's cool right?" she had a very happy expression on her face and I couldn't turn her down.

"Totally cool, it's awesome," that was my answer while I was entirely nervous, every person is different in judging and I was worried they won't like my singing! I would go back to my family like a loser, I failed in beating a few singers who I didn't know how many were there but still the total number is 23 and it's not that big. I wanted to be accepted so bad! We waited for hours and hours and I felt my but getting flat, which was annoying. I stood up to get something for me to drink when I hear them calling my name, "Riley Berkley."

I told Aria to wish me good luck which she didn't and I knew that from that careless expression on her face. I felt that she wanted to tell me, "Just get out of here, you're causing a crowd!" I walked gracefully to the auditioning hall where I met the judges and 7 more celebrities. My concentration directly turned to one of the celebrities who was so hot and looked so adorable, I felt my heart skip a beat.

And he looked just a few years older than me, probably 19. He was wearing a black jacket with a blue shirt under it. With some black jeans, simple but made him look amazing. I had all my focus on him, not being able to remember what I was going to sing! I barely got my head together and I started introducing myself, then I sang "Just a Kiss" by Lady Antebellum. I felt like I had the whole world in my hands, like I own everything I ever wanted.
