Greatness

Kyree had been going to physical therapy for a few weeks now but his leg pain was getting the best of him. They didn't understand that he needed his legs to heal and be massaged before he started trying to use them. Every morning Nyleah would pick out his outfits and help him put on his pants socks and shoes and then help him in and out of his wheelchair at home and school. She finally decided to call her mom to ask her about the pain remedy she used to use when she was younger. Nyleah laid Kyree down on the bed and used this mint cream she created with mint leaves, Epsom salt, alcohol, and lemon juice. She massaged his legs and then rinsed them off with hot water when she was done she asked him to try and stand. He was scared to so he began to second guess himself but with her holding his hands and her encouraging words he began to walk slowly but surely. Within a few days he was walking normally and he did leg workouts every afternoon. He got back on his stuff 5 days before Basketball season. It was conditioning and he was the team Captain basketball was definitely his life and Nyleah being there through it all assured him that she was his wife he was going to ask her to prom in an extraordinary way.
The First Game
Everybody was hype for the first game they wanted to see what these Glass boys were about all year everybody was anticipating basketball season since almost every other sports team there was either boring or they lost all the time. Kyree was ready to show off his skills after being severely injured. He also planned on asking Nyleah to prom. The game was about to start and the boys were called out one by one but Kyree came out last they announced last but not least our team Captain Kyree "wavy" Myers who has a special surprise. The song Shawty Like Mine came one and Kyree started rapping to Bow Wow's part then he had my favorite flowers in his hand daffodils he had me come out to the middle of the floor and I looked at the crowd each group in the stands yelled out "Nyleah! Go! To! Prom! With! Kyreeeee!" With the words speeded out across the crowd. I smiled and ran to him giving him a big kiss then I yelled Yess! But it wasn't over he had My momma and Brian come out they had a yellow box they walked up to Kyree and handed it to him. He got on one knee and I instantly started freaking out. "Nyleah you have been down for me since day one and you helped me get back on my A game if it wasn't for you I would be watching this game from the sidelines so with this ring I Promise to love and respect you I Promise to always protect you and stay by your side no Matter what this is Your Promise Ring!" I smiled so hard and took the ring then I hugged him and kissed him again the whole gym cheered. Then once I got off the floor the game started. Instantly Kyree started shooting threes the score ended up being 67 to 20 the Glassboro boys beat the Sharks and that was the start of the season. When the game was over they played Wavy by Ty Dolla Sign.
