Fifteen years later
There was a buzzing noise. I don't quite know how to describe it. But maybe it was like a florescent light bulb. But that wasn't likely. Richard had long since blown the power grid in my room. The buzzing noise got louder. Something landed on my face. Oh, it's either Connor or Alice. A second thing landed on my face. So it's Alice. Is it really Wednesday already? I crushed both flies and looked at my clock. 8:30 am. God, no one should have to wake up at 8:30 ever. It should be illegal. I'll bring it up to Agent Hendrickson next time I see him. I stood up and walked over to my closet. I opened it up and looked at a screen. I pressed a button on it, the screen flashed and showed a picture of myself, brown hair lying on my forehead, bed head sticking up in a few places, brown eyes lacking the twinkle of true consciousness, and of course, my pajamas. I swiped the touch screen a few times, choosing a black v-neck, my rings, my crescent moon-shaped dragon necklace, a pair of jeans, and a pair of red chucks. When I had chosen an appropriate outfit. I pressed a button, stepped back, and held my arms straight out sideways. A horizontal light shown, traveling down my body in a straight line. Wherever it passed, my clothes changed, making it so that when the beam had traveled the entire length of my body, I was wearing the clothes that were on the screen. I walked over to my door and pressed the button on the side. The door slid open and I walked out.
To answer your question, I am not in a time period beyond yours.... At least I shouldn't be. The year is 2013 on my end. The reason for the door is because I am in a military facility. Why? Because I am an Omega. I have the ability to build anything. Sometimes I can see what machines are made of without touching it, letting me disassemble things to get the exact pieces I need. I don't know, it makes more sense in my head. That machine I just described was an invention of mine, helps me a lot in the mornings.
Now, you might be wondering why I look like I am talking to you. That's because I am. You deserve to know exactly what I do. If you are one us, and you stay under the radar, that means you're smart, you realize that me and my team may be after you if you showed off at all. If you didn't stay under the radar, you might be either stupid or ignorant, then you should learn about our world, so you can know about what happens to people who are recruited. If you are purposely misusing your powers, then you deserve to know that we are coming for you. If you are not one of us, then you should learn about the world that is happening all around you, right under your nose. There have been cover-ups to cover the cover-ups for the cover-ups. The Omega epidemic has been kept more secret than the real reason why Atlantis sank, and yes, it did exist.
Anyway, I walked down the steel corridor, following a series of colored lights on the wall, in a series of three colors, mine was blue, white, then red, like the French flag. I followed it to a classroom. Sitting at the desks were my identical quadruplet brothers and the other pairs of twins that we worked with. My brothers were Richard, Xander, and Jacob. One pair of twins was Connor and Alice, both with blonde hair, a devilish smirk, and stormy grey eyes. The other twins were Stephanie and Kelly, they were the only ones of us who didn't look exactly alike. Kelly took after their father, with dark skin, black hair and eyes, braided hair where a section of it was orange, and a grin like she was always in on an inside joke. Stephanie was light skinned like their mom with strikingly blue eyes and pure silver, all natural hair. We don't know why her hair is silver, it isn't made of metal (I know, I've done tests on it), but it is white that just seems to shine. Standing at the front of the room was a woman who always kept her eyes closed. Her name was Madam Red, since they apparently didn't trust us to know her real name. She claims that she has heat vision that is always active whenever her eyes are open, but she hasn't showed us yet. She thankfully isn't sightless, her sense of smell is her other ability, it is like, off the charts good.. Also making her a prime candidate for being a disciplinarian, since her sense of smell could tell you if there was a speck of gold in a mine that went down a thousand feet and she can smell the way that you move, including anything that you try to pick up of fiddle with. We know, she's done both.
