I woke up in a hospital bed and I sat up slowly, I moaned in pain and looked around
" that was quite a stab wound you had" the doctor stated and my eyes widened and I lifted up my shirt only to see stitches across my side and I had a million thoughts racing through my head
" where is my sister" I asked still looking at the stitches on my side and she gave me a sorry look
" well, i'm so sorry to say this but she didn't make it" she said and tears filled my eyes making it hard to see but they became clear when tears slid down my face
" and well, your parents are dead too" she sighed and I broke down sobbing and she hugged me
" i'm so sorry and your gonna have to stay here a few weeks until you are healed and there is something I need to tell you" she said and it was almost like her tone turned dark
" we didn't put those stitches in" she said and my tear ridden eyes widened and I looked at my sides and I knew that I didn't put them there.
I sighed and the nurse handed me my phone I had just gotten a text from my friends telling me they heard about the attack and they will come visit me later today and that they miss me and hope i'm okay, tears filled up my eyes as I replied and told them that I was sad and scared and sent it there was a reply from them all saying why are you scared did something else happen and I started to reply yeah something did happen I already had stitches on my sides when they found me and they didn't put them in. There was a long pause before all of them facetimed me and I picked up
" hi how are you" they all asked
" fine hanging in there" I smiled a little but it faded away
" can we see the stitches" Alison asked
" um yeah but please don't freak out okay" I said and lifted up my shirt revealing the stitches
" woah did you get stabbed or something" Noah asked and my eyes narrowed
" yeah I did get-" I paused as my head started to hurt
" oh my god! Who put those stitches in" Alison asked and my eyes widened
" that's just it I don't know neither do the doctors they said they saw them when they got there" I explained and everyone's eyes widened
" do you think the person who stabbed you did it" Jacob asked
" um, maybe I don't know you guys" I sighed and they gave me weird looks
" what do you mean maybe" Alison asked and my eyes filled with tears again
" he killed my sister" I finally snapped and their eyes widened.
After everyone said goodnight then hung up I laid there in the bed looking at the ceiling and sat up when there was a noise I looked around the room but nothing was there, I sighed and laid back down and closed my eyes. I entered a dream, yet alone a nightmare and I was still in the hospital and I got up slowly and walked out into the hallway every single door was wide open and someone stepped out they had this mouth thing over its mouth and had axes attached to his belt.
I flinched and that was what gave away my fear and all the sudden there were more of them but one of them I remembered it was Jeff and I started to panic and started to back away but that was when one of them lunged at me and I yelled out and shot up awake sweat dripped down the sides of my face and I grabbed my earbuds and my phone and turned on some music to help me calm down and I looked around the room as I heard a thud but there was nothing there. I sighed with relief before a ear splitting scream came from the hallway and my eyes widened and I got up slowly but then sat back down from the pain and my head was spinning, I felt a little sick because the memories of what happened before I ended up in this hellhole so to speak.
