This is not a oneshot...
I woke in a cold sweat.
One word echoing through my half-conscious mind.
Troye.
The dream had been vivid.
Troye.
I sat up, shoving the blankets off my heated body. I rubbed my face, trying to catch the little bits of my shattered dream.
Troye.
I jumped at the sound of my bedroom window slam, then open again, letting another gust of cool Los Angeles air to fill the room. I got up to lock the window and close the curtains; the room was silent and dark again.
I looked back at my empty bed and then realization hit me like a brick. Where was he??
My doorway was open to the dark hallway and I padded through quietly. I wandered through the kitchen and saw the back of my boyfriend's head; he was sitting on the leather couch with the television on. It was deathly silent and dark except for the television that flashed lights over my face.
"You awake?" I called out tentatively.
He didn't move.
I moved closer to see his eyes shut and his chest rising and falling softly.
I smiled adoringly. He was beautiful.
I turned off the TV and carefully sat down next to him, snuggling up to him and wrapping my arms around his small waist. I inhaled his sweet scent and stroked his soft strawberry blond hair.
I felt him shift awake but he didn't get up. "I love you Connie" he muttered, half-asleep.
I had no more dreams of my blue-eyed boy that night.
I know, its short. But there will be longer chapters I promise.
And I know it's not Troye. I'm very aware; he will appear soon enough.
