Dangerous Mission

-------Dan's P.O.V.-------

I woke up to a dagger in my face. Not just any dagger though. The dagger was called the "black raven" due to it being all black and right in the center there is a red eye/orb. This dagger belonged to the most feared Assassin. I glanced over and Phil and was relieved to see that he was sleeping and unawear of the Assassin in front of me. I looked up at the dagger and muttered"Must you always wake me up in such a way?"

The Assassin didn't even crack a smile wich was unusual. His peircing red eyes stared into my very soul. I reached up to tear of his spiked mask when he turned his face away from me and pushed my hand away. My eyes narrowed into slits as I realized he was here for serious business.

His muffled dark voice sounded from behind his mask"Dan, this isn't a joke. You endagered yourself by letting him into your cave. You either need to get rid of him or pack up your stuff and head out imediatly. There are people after him. Now not only do you need to keep him safe but you also need to protect yourself."

I glanced over at the sleeping Phil and sadly nodded my head. I knew this might end up happening. But I forced him to stay with me anyways. If I need to protect him so be it.

I coldly hissed "I will protect him. I knew what I was agreeing to when I practicly invited him into my cave. Stop worrying so much , Damen. Honestly I don't need you watching over me all the time."

Damen pointed his Dagger right at my face and spat out the words as if they were a curse "I'm not playing games anymore Dan. This is fucking serious! First, you broke the fucking rules by allowing an outsider into our land. Second, you agreed to help him find the sacred Crystal of Purity. I'm giving you a fucking choice. Make a damn decision before I make it for you. One day and you are already acting like a disgusting love sick puppy! You are a fucking Nightmare Ninja! Start acting like it before you end up splat down on the ground. Now, listen very closely to what I have to say. Get. Rid. Of. Him. OR. Pack up your fucking stuff and leave this valley and never ever fucking return. Understand? The moment you leave this valley you are banned from ever returning."

I gupled in fear as I stared up at the dagger and then at Damen. I don't want to abandone Phil but I also don't want to lose my home. Such a hard decision to make.

I sighed "I guess I will be heading out then. Good bye."

Damen laughed at me harshley as he moved the dagger from in front of me back into it's seeth. Damen mocked "Choosing the boy after all. Good luck with that, Lover Boy. You'll end up dead within a day. There is no way you are going to survive the people out there.  But if you do happen to survive and manage to get the Crystal of Purity. Do stop by, I'd love to finish the job of killing you. Good bye Dan."

Damen turned around and started to walk out of the cave when I yelled"HEY!! WHAT ABOUT MY GOOD BYE KISS?"

Damen turned around and gave me his stank eye. I shivered from fear. My eyes widened in shock as he actually walked towards me and undid his mask. He leaned in and gave me a hard and forceful 6 second kiss before putting his mask back on and leaving the cave for good.

I stared at the ground in shock. I did not expect Damen to actually listen to me. Oh well, I better start packing.

I grabed a suit case and packed up all my stuff before gently shaking Phil to wake him up. Phil groaned"Go awayyyyyy."

I sighed"Phil, we need to leave. Like, right now."

Phil opened up one of his eyes and glared at me angerly before poking me roughly in the cheek. Phil growled"What do you mean by "WE" and why right now?"

I sighed and explained the whole thing that happened before Phil had woken up. Excluding the kissing bit.

Phil quickly shot up from the bed and gravbed up all his stuff before sprinting out of the cave. I quickly caught up to Phil. Phil gently took my hand and gave me a friendly smile. Hand in hand we walked the pathway into Mystery Peak. 

This is going to be on hell of an Adventure. But also a dangerous journey. I do wonder what challenges will be in our way. Oh well. I have a feeling that I will find out soon enough.

I am such a terrible person for leaving this with the first chapter for soooooo long. Anyways, I hoped this made up for it. BTW the inspiration for this chapter/Damen was industrial outfits/music/dancing. XD
