In my room laying on my bed I watch the snow fall from the grey/ blue sky. I here my mom get home from work. Only a few people are working today, mom got off earlier than most. I look around my room. I have a 20 gallon tank with 1 fish in it. It's a betta named Izuko. Then my dreasser, a touch lamp, a fan and my bed which I'm laying on.
I sigh. The room is painted a light blue and it's calming but boring. The snow calls to me, it says "Belllllaaaa I want to plaaaayyyyy" I sigh again. I get up and rummage through my closet. I find a scarf, my hat with a little puff ball on it, my red and black jacket and some light but warm boots.
I start walking throught the house to find my gloves. After 5 Minutes of searching I yell out to mom, "Maaaa! Where are my black gloves!?" She replies right away.
"Did you check the drier? You went out yesturday with them!" And what luck they where there. I slipped them on.
"Bye mom love you!" I yell out just as a shut the door I heard her say 'Bye Love you too!' I start walking through the woods in our back yard. The only sounds that I can hear are the birds chriping and then the crunching of the snow under my boots.
I love the woods in winter and fall. The snow covered trees that snow can fall off of anytime and hit you. It's happened all the time to me. I'd laugh and start a snow ball fight with the tree's. I would run and laugh until my sides hurt and then fall to the ground and close my eyes. I walked up to the top of the hill and knock on the big tree's bark, then I would throw a snow ball at it and try to knock some snow down. It's my normal ruteinevery day. And when there isn't snow I would ask it when it would snow.
As some snow fell from my snowball that I threw I watched the old tree bend with the wind. When the wind stopped I walked up to the old thing and took my glove off and then put my bare hand on it's bark. "Old, Old Tree. You are my friend. You listen to my worries and send them away with the wind. Please don't leave me in this world alone. You know all of my secrets and still listen to me whine. Be safe against the holoring of the wind." I took my palm off the old tree and put my glove back on.
"That was a good poem." I voice said. I jumped in fright and looked around. I didn't see anyone when I can up to the hill. I walked around the tree and still no one.
"Where are you?" I asked to anyone who awnsered.
There was silence for a second then the same voice said, "You can here me?"
I furrowed my brows. "Well yea I can. I'm not deaf." I said frowning.
There was a sound that sounded like 'hmmm'ing If that makes since. "I wonder..." the voice muttered.
Then some snow fell on my and I looked into two big green eyes. I screached and fell to the ground. ''What.... Who... How...Why.... Where...." I sigh and layed on my back on the soft blanket of snow. "I give up..." I muttered. The same pair of eyes came above me again. "Yes?" I asked.
"Hey, you come here a lot?" The eyes asked then I opened one of my eyes and seen a face with the green eyes. His hair was pure white and his skin was pretty white also. I sat up slowly making sure not to hit my head with his. I stood up and brushed myself off so the snow wouldn't soak my through. I sighed and turned around.
I was going to say something but this guy must be freezing. All he has on was a blue sweater that has ice forming on it and some brown pants that looked to small. Then he was leaning on a staff that had a hook at the top. "What the hell are you wearing?!" I yelled running over to him to make sure that he wasn't going to die on me.
He looked at himself confused. Then looked back at me. He opened his mouth to talk but I cut him off. "It's cold out and all you are wearing if that?" I asked him.
"Ohhh, I'm not cold turst me. I'm used to the cold by now." He said. It sounded like it had a hidden meaning to it...
"Well are you gonna tell me your name or do I gotta do something to get it?" I said. Sarcasum clear in my voice.
"Well since you asked, I haven't had a kiss in quite a long time." He said with a pout.
I looked him straight in the face. "I'm out," I said with a straight face and started walked away.
"Wait! Please I was just kidding," I kept walking, and so he grabbed my elbow, "Please... Don't go?"
I sigh and turn around. The look in his eyes tell me that he wasn't lieing this time. "Do you really want to know who I am?" He askes letting his hand loosen and fall to his side. I nod my head. "Fine but first awnser my question. Do you come here a lot?"
I smiled. "I come here as often as I can. My mom says that the hill and my big tree are dangerous. I used to come here everyday, even during the sumer, winter, fall and spring." I sigh a nice sigh. "This place. No one but me knew about it. There was a flood a few months back that came from the mountains cooling too fast and so the snow melted. I was locked in my room so I couldn't see how the tree was doing."
I look over to the guy. He looks lost in thought. "Wow. I used to come here a lot. I was here when the flood happened." He looked me in the eyes. He took a step closer. "Are you sure you want to know who I am?" I nod my head again. "Alright here are some clues. One: I can fly. Two: I am used to the cold or better yet the cold does not effect me. Three: My last name is Frost." I take a few seconds to gather my thoughts.
This man I am seeing is the one and only Jack Frost? No, no, no it can't be. Why would Jack be here? WOuldn't he be in like the North Pole with Santa? I took a deep breath, looked him in the eyes and walked toward him. "Your Jack Frost?" I stopped when we were meer inched away.
He looks up to the sky, "Mhmmm" then looks back at me.
"Jack Frost. Will you be my friend?" I ask him. He looks at me wide eyed.
