Madhouse

Chapter 3

Jade's POV

I slowly pushed my arizona on the glass table infront of me and kicked off my bright wedges. 

"So should we like,introduce ourselves?" the blonde girl asks and we all collectively nod.

she starts "I'm Nelly,I'm 18 I'm from Montreal and just finished high school." The next girls nods and pushes her long hair out of her face. "I'm Meckie I just turned 18 and im from Nova Scotia. I also just finished high school." 

The other asian beside her smiles and pulls the red pair of sunglasses off her face. "I'm Rae I'm 18 and also just finished high school."

The black girl beside her smiles wide at us "Same as Rae but my name is Tatiana but call me Tiana"  

"Same as every one too except I'm Jade" I says awkwardly sipping my almost empty Arizona.  

We all turn to the guys. One guys with a dirty blonde quiff and blue supras,brown chinos and a denim short sleeve button down. "My names Axel" He started and all the girls started to swoon because of his thick irish accent "I'm 18 and from dublin"

The guy beside him gave a quirky grin to the girls and pulles his grey beanie up a bit. "I'm Hunter,I'm also like everyone else 18 and I'm from Wales"  

"I'm josh I'm from LA and I'm obviously 18" the next guy says coyly playing with a green newyork flatcap. the second last guys really catches my attention "I'm Damien,and I'm from mexico" his thick accent rings sweetly in my ears and I catch his dazzling hazel eyes staring at me. The last guys shyly speaks up "I'm mike,I umm am 18"  

Everyone smiles at each other and starts a small conversation.

Nelly's POV

After a few minutes of chatter we decide to go see the second floor. As we rush upstairs I hang back a bit with Tiana and we end up a few steps behind the others. "Wanna check out the entire first floor first?" I ask her and she nods pulling her long braids into a pony tail.  

"Can we join? I don't fancy going up yet" a soft british accent asks and we both turn to see Hunter and Axel.

Tiana nods and we head left. We end up in the kitchen. " I hope there's food in here because I'm absolutly famished!" Axel says excitedly and we all take a diffrent part of the kitchen searching for food.

"Holy cow! we're stocked up in food!" Tiana says bringing out a package of Oreos,a bag of skittles and a bag of assorted gummies and setting it all in the tiled breakfast bar.  

I contribute graham crackers and white,milk and dark chocolate. Axel brings vanilla,caramel,butterscotch,strawberry and chocolate icecream.  

Hunter brings spoons and bowls.

"I presume we're making sundaes?" Axel asks spreading out all the junk food.

Tiana's POV

I scoop up a scoop of vanilla,butterscotch and strawberry into my bowl and crunch graham crackers all over it all. From the corner of my eye I notice Axel watching me.  

His gorgeous blue eyes follow my hands as I put various candies over the icecream. 

"Do we have any sauces?!" I look up and asks Axel. He shrugs and looks around finally emerging with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I take the whipped cream and add a dallop to my bowl.

"Are you done?" I hear a british voice ask and I notice that everyone else is done. "Yeah sorry"  

Nelly laughs "its all good" we clear the island and sit on the red plastic stools.  

"Thish is sho gooth!" Axel mouths between a lot of icecream and we all laugh at him. "It is!" Hunter agrees and we sit like that eating contently in the comfortable silence.

I feel a pressure on my right foot and a I realise its Axel's foot. we play footsie under the table without even talking for a whole 30 minutes until he finally gives up and let's me rest my feet in his.

So far so good.
