Runaway Shewolf

Ch.2

Sebastian P.O.V

     "Sebastian, you've been alpha since you were young, yes the pack let you slide without a mate, but you're freaking eighteen now! You need to find one ASAP!" Alec, my Beta, said.

     "Look, Alec, you know why I don't want one." I said, nearly growling at the memory.

     "Look, Sebastian , not all women are like that! Look at my mate! She isn't like that." Jace, my Third in Command, said.

     I stay quiet as I contemplated what they said as I was driving. Next thing you know, I hit a wolf... not just any wolf, a werewolf.

     Alec runs out and checks it out as I came right after.

    "Shit! Sebastian! Help me get get this girl to the pack doctor!" Alec yelled.

     Sweet scents of an orchid filled me as I near the wolf. I wrap my arms around her and I hear growling. I look up the see an entire pack staring at her, I give them a fierce look and they pack off.

     " Alec, drive fast, we need to get my mate back to the pack." I said in my Alpha voice, picking her up and taking her into the backseat after Jace moves out of it.

     "Yes Alpha." Alec said as the two get in the car.

     Half way through the ride, she shifted back into her own body. I take off my shirt and put it on her to cover her.

     "How much longer?!" I asked, worried.

     "We are going in the garage right now. I've already informed the doc. He's ready for you two." he replies.

     I nod and once the car stops, I jump out of it and run to the clinic. I get directed to a open office and the doc is sitting there waiting for me.

     "Lay her down!" he said.

     I do as he said and he sets her up.

     "She should be okay now. You said you hit her with a car?!" he asked.

     "Yes." I said, looking down.

     "Her ribs should have been shattered or severely broken but it looks like she's just about done healing. She has alot of injuries, they look like they were made last night but they are mostly healed." He said.

     I give him a surprise face and goes to look on her back. That's when he pales and mutter something.

     "Doc, what's wrong?!" I asked, scared.

     "Nothing." he said, running out.

     I go and move her slightly and examine her back. I spot nothing and I set her down as I stroke her beautiful silver hair. I sit in a chair and hold her hand as I wait for her to wake up.

Lailanie's P.O.V

     I slowly open my eyes and bright white lights hit my eyes. I whine at the brightness and the scent of the forest cover the scent of the hospital. I try to move my arms but one of them was pin down.

     "Huh?" I asked, looking down at it. I see my hand is being held on to my by a guy with gold hair and beautiful features. I reach over and even though if was painful, I push away. The guy's eyes flash open and he growls. I flinch in fear and his angered eyes softens.

     "I'm sorry ma'am. I didn't mean to growl at you." he said, getting closer.

     I didn't move and he touch my hand. I feel little tingles and makes my heart skip a beat. I move my hand away and my wolf whines in the inside as hurt flash through his eyes.

     "Um, I'm Alpha Sebastian. What's your name?" he said.

     His voice is soft, deep, sexy, and has a strong hint of a hispanic. It sends my wolf into a a happy frenzy and I get concern. The last time Luna was sent into a happy frenzy, I couldn't help my family, nor stop that pack from kidnapping me.

     "Lailanie." I said quietly.

     "So why were you running last night? And what were  you running from?" he asked.

     I sit there quietly and look away as tears start to fall from my eyes.

     "Lailanie! Why are you crying? Can you please tell me?" he said.

     'I can't tell him why. I have to get away before they find me!' I thought.

     With that, I painfully yank off the IV thing, grab my backpack, and run out fast with my inhuman speed. It must had caught Alpha Sebastian by surprise because he was way behind me with his pack.

     'Don't let anyone see your fur color if you change into your wolf.' a voice other than Luna said in my head.

     I run into the woods and throw on a black cloak. I hope they don't see me as I run even faster. I hear my mate howl in pain as he and his pack looking for me. I just keep running till I get tackled by something big that sent tingles through my body.

     'Fuck! I'm gonna get squished by my mate!' I thought, getting close to the ground.

     At the last second, Alpha Sebastian switch us around to where he is taking the entire impact of the tackle and slide on the ground. When we stop, he is laying on the ground with me on top and me clutching to him tightly. I look up and see him in pain. My wolf howls as she feels the pain of her mate. I was going to get up and leave but Alpha Sebastian opens his eyes; his royal blue eyes stop me and I just freeze there.

     "Please, Mi Amor, don't leave." he said, carressing my cheek.

     His eyes beg me to stay, which I just did. That's when Alpha Sebastian quickly pick me up bridal style and carry me back to the pack house. We reach the front door and he continue to carry me to a room. He set me down on a soft bed and for some reason, I couldn't move.

     "Get some rest now Mi Princesa." he said.

     He leans down and kiss my foreheand. In that kiss, I feel my energy get pull out of me. After it was taken from me, I feel into a peaceful sleep.

Sebastian's P.O.V

     I quietly walk out of her room and shut the door. I turn to walk away and see both my Beta and Third standing there waiting for me.

     "You can't just use your powers to keep her paralyzed and then take away her energy!" Jace said, growling.

     "You need to get to know her! Not just use your powers to solve your problems." Alec said.

     "I know, I didn't mean too, but she was in pain. I had to." I replied.

     They were quiet then I remember about the wolves I saw earlier today.

     "Alec, I want you to find out who the pack that was on the cliff is. Jace, I want you to find out more about Lailanie. Tomorrow I will talk to her, let her know I'm her mate. Then maybe get her to join our pack and school. Cross your fingers guys. Goodnight." I said.

     They nod and run off as I walk to my room. I get ready for bed and sigh.

     'I need to find out what she is hiding. I want to protect her, but something seems familar to her.' I thought as I drift to sleep.
