"Nothing's changed from you, I can see that. And still, you always ignores my question."
"Well sorry my lovely ex girlfriend. I've been here for about 4 months, I think." He said it with a smile. "But you must be staying here before I graduated. I heard you take the fast track."
"I've been here for about 1 and a half year. You studied here? What uni?"
"I take bussiness management at Oxford." HOW? HOW CAN WE NEVER MET BEFORE.
"I also studied in Oxford, how is it possible that I never see you around? Or maybe you are one of those geeks right now?"
"I'm a freshman and I still have some projects to be done. You know, I'm a busy guy."
"Gosh, you really still have those arrogancy since we were little." He doesn't talk. He just reply it with a smirk. A flirty smirk. And just right after that the rain starts pouring down.
"Damn" I said it kinda out loud.
"What? What's the matter?" He asked. "Nothing. I just don't know how to get home. It's fucking raining and I came here by walking."
"Oh why don't you just be straight forward. You want me to drive you home like we used to back then? Sure, I'll drive you home" This guy is the most annoying person ever. No one can beat him in that title.
"You are so confident yet so stupid. I'm not asking you to drive me. I was just thinking that I might be here a little longer." I'm being so rude but whatever I don't want to look like an approachable girl.
"So, you don't want me to drive you home? Okay then, My project's done, and I'm leaving right now. Are you sure you don't wanna go with me? The rain's showers pretty hard. I think It would last long enough until everyone in this crowded place is leaving" Gosh, I really don't want to go with him but maybe he's right. The rain would last long.
Just a ride home doesn't mean I look approachable right? or is it? But whatever I'm getting freezing in this hell hole full of people.
"I think you got the point. You're not in a hurry right?"
"No, You come?"
"Yes thankyou." He lead the way to the door. And infact, he opened it for me.
"Here you go my lady." Such Brandon. The rain fell down so hard. But guess what. He opened his jacket, put it on top of my head and said "Go Go! Run! My car's the black one." As I run, he runs also. And the best part is he opened the door for me. It's not a big deal if it wasn't raining. Soon he catched up and get inside the car.
"Fuck, my dress. It's totally freezing in here."
"I can't hug you right now because I'm also wet. Where's your home?"
"Apartment on the Lane Road"
"Oh it's nearby." And he drove me there. When we get there he asked me if he can stay for a little because it is freezing and he's so hungry.
We take the lift up to 11th floor. I take the keys out and there's my apartment at the end of the hallway. 11E. I opened the door, and looked at him.
"May I come in?" he said while passing my apartment doors.
