"That's so me!" Teenage girls squeal at their screens.
Everyone's relating to the latest funny memes.

The voices all sound the same there's nothing to differ,
The sound of kids with hopes and dreams but nothing they offer.

And choices pushing left and right about to shatter their fragile minds.
Impressionable young spirits with the infinite tie that binds,

People and pictures and relatable quotes galore.
Is everyone the same or are we even sure?

Because I seem to have misplaced my thoughts but perhaps it will be fine.
I can borrow someone else's no one can tell the difference. No can whine.

They dine. On feasts of their own reality.
They rage. Over meals of their indignity.

They cry. Emotions are trending millions of quotes go out an hour.
They laugh. These pictures are smiling and they hope they don't lose power.

We'd be nothing without our power. Nothing without our machines.
Nothing without the ties that bind us close to everything.

How can we survive without knowing what chant is new?
Kids of all shapes and sizes yelling Damn Daniel and his white shoes.

So is it bringing us together or creating a false security?
Everyone laughs at what everyone laughs at, it's the perfect cure you see.

Get them all to begin to fall in love with the same humor they've seen on their screens.
Their minds will connect and know that someway you're alike and it could be destined to be.
