Author's Note: How are you guys liking the story so far? There's gonna be lots of drama in this chapter... And sorry James is gonna be a bad guy in this story, that's just how it ended up. Also, I have nothing against Katelyn, I just wanted to make her bad. By the way, the P.O.V switches a lot in this chapter. Now let's get to the story...
“You ready yet?” Kendall asks from the living room. “Yeah,” I answer, finishing my make-up. He walks into the bathroom and his jaw hits the ground. “You look beautiful,” he says. “Thank you,” I reply. I’m wearing a purple mini dress with black flats and a black leather jacket.
We go to his car and we drive to Cicada. “Call me if you need a ride or whatever,” he says. I lean over and kiss him on the cheek. “Okay,” I say. I start to get out but he grabs my wrist. “What is it?” I ask. “2 years ago... You sent me a message on YouTube. You recommended for me to sing Your Guardian Angel. You said I was your guardian angel. I am. And I always will be,” he says.
“You actually read my message?” I croak. “Of course. I never deleted it either,” he says. “Whoa,” I feel a bit dizzy from the surprise. “I've been trying to figure out how to tell you,” he says. “I love you. You are too freaking sweet. But I really gotta go,” I tell him. He kisses me and I get out.
I go into the restaurant and tell the usher I’m with Taylor Lautner. “Yes, of course. Mr. Lautner told us he had a guest today. Right this way, miss,” he says and I follow him to a table in the back. I sit down and wait, wondering if I've been stood up. A few seconds later, Taylor walks over and sits down across from me. “Sorry about that. I had to take a call,” he says with an apologetic look.
“It's cool,” I tell him. “I'm Taylor, by the way,” he says with a smile. “Adriana,” I say. “So you're probably wondering why I wanted to have lunch with you,” he says. “Yep kind of,” I say. “I wanted to meet my co-star properly and see if you were the right fit for Renesmee,” he says. “It's an honor to get to work with you,” I say. “The honor's mine,” he smiles.
I know he's flirting, but how can I be upset? He's...him. We order our food and it's out in a few minutes. “Is this your first movie?” he asks. “Yeah. I just moved here a few days ago, actually,” I tell him. “Oh wow. A fresh face,” he says. “Haha I guess I am,” I say with a smile.
A camera flashes and I jump. “It's only paparazzi,” Taylor says with a laugh. “Don't laugh at me,” I say, giggling. “Do you have a boyfriend?” he asks suddenly. “Yeah,” I say. “Do I know him?” he asks. “More than likely. Kendall Schmidt,” I say. “From Big Time Rush?” he asks. “The one and only,” I say.
“Oh. I've never actually met him. He seems kind of obnoxious,” he says. “He's far from obnoxious,” I say. “I'll take your word for it,” he says. “You don't like him, do you?” I ask. “Not really,” he says. “Why not?” I ask. “He can't sing, he's weird looking, his band's music sucks... I could go on for hours,” he says. “You don't know him, Taylor. He's the most amazing guy I've ever met in my life,” I tell him, starting to get pissed.
“From what I've heard he's a cocky guy who doesn't appreciate what he's got,” Taylor says, continuing to insult my boyfriend. “So you think you're better than him?” I ask. “Baby, I know I’m better than him,” he says seriously. “You're the cocky one. And if you're just gonna sit here and be a dick, you can forget about me doing a movie with you,” I say and cross my arms.
“I'm sorry. Forget I said that stuff. I’m a cocky bastard,” he says. “You are. And I forgive you,” I say. He smiles. Soon we're finished with our food and he offers to drive me home. I say yes and he takes me to Kendall's apartment. “Again, I’m sorry for being such an ass. I'll see you when filming starts,” he says. “Bye,” I say.
