"How're you feeling?"
My heart wasn't steady, I had a cold feeling in my head and my palms were sticky. "I'm fine." I replied.
"Awesome! There are so many people out there, we'd better not mess up." Jessica flashed me a smile and then picked up her phone, "only 5 more minutes".

I've had stage fright since I went to high school, I'd kind of gotten used to my symptoms by now. I just loved performing in front of others for as long as I can remember.

"I'll be right back," I said to Jess as I wandered out of the dressing rooms and towards the door at the end of the hall.
"Hurry! You don't want to miss your cue." She shouted back, with her head angling out of the door way.

I made sure that no one else was in the bathroom before running my palms underneath the cold tap and flicking the refreshing droplets onto my face. I managed to take three deep breaths before being interrupted by Jess swinging open the door,
"Daisy! We're on, now!" She said in a panicked tone whilst grabbing my arm and tugging me out of the room and towards the stage entrance.

The hallway seemed so bright and it was filled with so many people , yet no one was making a sound.
My head was getting lighter and lighter as I saw the ground come rushing up to greet me with a sharp punch...
