[Team Story]

Camille

Camille opened her eyes to find herself enclosed in a clear, tube-like structure. There was only just enough room for her to turn in a circle. She heard metal begin to creak above her head and the sides of the tube began to vibrate.

"I guess I could be taking off into space, but whoever's doing this definitely has a budget problem." She muttered to no one, looking at the plain black t-shirt, pants and combat boots she was wearing. "I would've preferred some color while they were at it as well. Whoever designed this must have seen..."

She trailed off, trying to remember what she was going to reference. She felt like the name was just sitting there in a lounge chair on her tongue. She squeezed her eyes shut, hoping to remember, but all that came was darkness and a bit of a headache. Frustrated, Camille began to bang her fists against the clear tube wall, but then it stopped vibrating. She looked up as the screech of metal upon metal came from above. At first, her eyes were met with blinding lights, but as her pupils contracted, she realized the lights were coming from streetlights and buildings of a city. The platform beneath her feet moved upwards, bringing her with it. Camille then found herself standing in the middle of a busy street. Car and taxi horns began to blare as the sea of headlights coming at her began to part. Her eyes went huge for a split second before yelling "Oh shit!" and flinging herself to the nearest sidewalk. She landed on her side, scraping her elbow in the process, but quickly pulled herself back to her feet. A sense of panic began to creep into her mind and her breathing became quicker as she began to finally take in her surroundings. Brightly lit skyscrapers led her eyes up to the cloudy nighttime sky. Camille found it impossible to see any stars, even the moon was masked by the dense grey clouds that gripped the sky. There was only one thing she knew for sure,

"This is definitely NOT space..."
