The unknowing

Okay, so this whole pregnancy thing is not going so well for me. I have been throwing up everyday for the past two weeks. I absolutely hate it. It is really hard for me to keep my hormones in, because I either want to kill Anthony or make love to him; there is not in between.
Today, mom is picking me up to go get an ultrasound done. I'm actually pretty nervous. I will text Anthony and let him know. *TEXT MESSAGING* "Hey Anthony mom is taking me to get an ultrasound done today would you want to come?" 5 minutes after I sent the message my phone buzzed. "Sorry Kal, I have SO many papers to grade. I need to get them finished. I guess I was okay with that, because he was the one bringing in the money for our baby. "KAL!" Screamed Kinley. "KIN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" "Mom told me about the ultrasound and I wanted to go see and hear the baby's heartbeat." "Well, I am glad because Anthony is busy." "Too busy to go to HIS FIRST baby ultrasound? Sounds a little fishy to me Kal." "He has to grade papers Kin he is the ONLY one making money besides mom in this family for us." "Okay. So when's your appointment?" "About an hour." The room was very silent, like there was something I didn't know. Kin was the first to say something. "Maybe you should text him Kal. Maybe he's done grading papers." "Okay." Was all I could say.
TEXTING *Hey Anthony, are you done grading papers yet?
No, I still have a lot more to do.*
I was showing the messages to Kinley, she had this look on her face. "Kal, I really believe he's lying. Let's stop by the school and see if his car is there." "Okay..kin." "Yes" "What if his car isn't there?" "We drive to the dang hospital, for your ultrasound, then go back to your house." "Okay I'm so glad I can count on you Kinley." By this point I'm in tears. So we get in the car and drive by the school. I see his car Kin notices the other car parked next to his. "Kal, we have about 20 mins til your appointment. Let's go see who's car that is parked by Anthony's." We walked right into the school, down the hallway, and then to his room. When we went into his classroom he was talking to this older lady. I could hear the sadness in his voice, and just then he saw me and Kinley. "Oh, they must have a question about homework or something. And Anthony, don't forget to call your Dad." Said Mrs. Jacobson. "Oh, I didn't mean to interrupt you're meeting with your sister Mr. Jacobson." "Sweetheart, that's so nice of you, but I am his mother. We were just talking about our family business. No need to apologize what did you say your name was?" "I didn't say my name Mrs. Jacobson , but my name is Kalney and my friend Kinley." "Please honey, call me Georgina. Mrs. Jacobson makes me feel old!" As she laughed.
    *Kal* Finally she left, I told Kin to wait for me in the car, so I could talk to Anthony. "So how was "grading papers"?" "Kal, I didn't know she was going to stop by like that. And I'm sorry I couldn't make it to our baby's ultrasound." "You didn't miss MY baby's ultrasound. It's in 10 minutes so I better get going cause YOU HAVE PAPERS TO GRADE!" *THOUGHTS* I know I was angry at him but it is HIS baby too. I'll just text him and say to meet me at the hospital. *TEXTING* KAL: Hey, we need to about what just happen, meet me at the hospital so we can talk after the ultrasound. A: Okay sounds great.
"Is the father going to be here?" Ask doctor Morgan. "Yes, he's about to walk in." I said nervously. "Hello, I'm Anthony Jacobson, I don't think we got the pleasure of meeting?" "No we did not, I am Kalney's mother, Sherri." *THOUGHTS* KAL: wow! I am surprised my mom was nice to him, but she did tell me she was going to be nice, for her grand baby. Which makes me happy.
