Ok so I just barely remembed this one because I just got back from my grandpas house. So I was with there with my mom and I was telling her this story of what happened to me when I was little and we were sleeping in the living room of his house.
So what happened was, me and my brother fell asleep but my brother fell asleep on the couch and I fell asleep on the floor with me mom. When we fell asleep my mom put on "Poltergeist" so she could fall asleep. (Yes she put on a scary movie to fall asleep XD....... No joke.) But anyway. I woke up in the middle of the night and it was at the part were the guy rips off his face when he's in the bathroom and the ghost coming down the stairs (spoiler alert.) So like every 7 or 8 year old kid I was watching it not knowing if I would not watch it or not. I looked a little to the right of the TV and the stairs are right by the TV. When I looked at the stairs I no joke this really happened but I saw a white shadow walking down the stairs. And no it did not look like the one from the movie. But it was just a white shadow coming down the stairs. I waited till it got to the bottom of the stairs to make sure it wasn't my grandma or grandpa or something. It wasn't because as it was getting closer to the bottom of the stairs it slowly started to disappear. I was scared so bad that I hid under the blanket like every little kid does when they get scared. But I just fell right asleep after that XD which I still find funny because I was so scared and then I fell asleep just fine like as if it never happened XD. But every time I think about it I still get slightly scared. So now I never watch "Poltergeist" when I'm by a stair case.
