It was dark, for certain.

From the time we entered, untl the time we left,

It was dark.

Humans had brought darkness.

Some try to be their own light to the world,

Some try to create light,

But the darkness flows from every fiber of our being

And light would be the very definition of inhuman.

We are not born with a craving for the light,

We are not born with love or kindness,

And never once have we humans made this world a better place.

It was dark,

And it was cold,

But light itself would have killed us.
