Adrien never noticed how much Marinette cared for him. He always thought that she would never pay attention to him missing or "running away" after the attack. The young teenager decided to check in with her since she did show an expression of curiousity.

The black cat flew in the night, distancing himself farther and farther away from the dark and cold place he was forced to call his home. Chat never really got much of the attention at home. Unless his father or father's assistant came to talk to him about studies, modeling, or money, that was it. As he arrived on her balcony, his knuckles gave a light kiss on her trapdoor three times. Marinette tensed up slightly since she didn't know who was there. She opened her side by a bit, seeing his earth-green eyes meeting her sky-blue pupils. Marinette opened up and welcomed the cat. "Hello there, Chat. Didn't expect to see you here, tonight?" Chat kneeled down with his hands infront.

"I just wanted to see my princess!" He smiled brightly as the girl let him in. "Why are you up so late? Shouldn't you be getting to bed?" He began to grow with interest.

"Maybe because a little cat decided to come into my room without further notice? Go home now, kitty." Marinette leaned onto her bedroom wall with her arms crossed. Chat Noir beamed his eyes towards Marinette's body. She had her hair down, covering her bare shoulders like curtains on a stage. Most of her skin was showing as her torso was covered with a black top. The bottom of her body was hidden under a pair of very revealing shorts that bled a nice shade of red velvet. "What are you staring at?"

Suddenly, Chat realized what he was doing. He was checking Marinette out! "Was it that noticeable?" He said in embarrassment.

"I mean, your eyes aren't invisible to me."

"Sorry, I got caught in the moment." He walked closer to her to the point his nose was an inch or two away from hers. "Did I tell you you look purr-fect right now?" Chat smirked while slowly holding her left cheek with his right palm softly.

"Chat, you just got here." She tried to move back but she was basically one with the wall. "You're too close now, kitty cat." He stared carefully into her eyes and watched as passing air moved the small strands of her midnight blue hair. Chat pulled Marinette closer by the hips and held her tightly next to him. "Chat, wait . . . What are you doing?" Her palms were in contact with his chest and her fingers held over his shoulders like a bridge. Their shoulders were nearly touching as Chat continued to pull her closer.

"Princess." He held her tightly in his arms as she struggled slightly to break free. "Don't fight me, I won't do anything to you. I just want to hug you for a bit." Before she could say anything, he pulled her close to his embrace and hugged her, pinned against the wall next to her computer. He slipped his left arm to her lower back to hold her hips to make her comfortable. Marinette sighed but began to get a warmth in his arms. She pressed her body against his, no longer fighting. They stood there for awhile, just hugging. "Thanks for letting me drop in to see you."

"Always. You can come by tomorrow if you want to." He squeezed her for a second before letting her go.

"Trust me, I will." He leaped up to her balcony and turned to her as she stood in her room. "Sleep well, princess!" And just like that, he blended into the night like a person's shadow.
