Chapter Five; Empty

The blue-haired girl sprayed water on her plants on the balcony. "I'm falling in love with that damned cat. B-but, Adrien . . . No. I can't like that cat! He's my friend and I don't even have a clue on who's under that mask." She tightened her grip on the bottle until the sprayer began to whine. "No more water, huh?"

"Then, let's go get more water!" A pair of strong arms wrapped behind Marinette's stomach and she jumped. "Princess, you didn't need to give your plants a bath." She looked up in confusion and looked down. She completely drenched the leaves. This caused her to panic, she never messes up on something as simple as this. "Is something bothering you?"

"It's you who's bothering me!" She moved in his hold as she tried to fix her problem. He squeezed her waist tighter.

"Is it me who's the problem, or is it your feelings towards me?"

She stopped moving. What he said made her begin to think. He giggled and let go of her, making her feel empty. Chat sat behind her on the fence and he grabbed her shoulder to turn her whole body around. "Chat-" He smashed his lips into hers and held her face close to his. No tongue or anything involved, just kissing. He pushed his lips harder onto hers, making sure she knows he wanted to kiss her. They stayed there for a bit, until they needed to breathe. "Cha . . . Chat . . ."

"Je t'aime." He tugged her hips towards him and hugged her. Chat rested his head on her shoulder. "I wish I could show you who I am. You'd be surprised to find out, though."

"Chat." She breathed.

"Yes, princess?" He turned to look at her. Marinette had tears running down her cheeks like rain on a cloudy day. Her eyes were low and dark. She looked at his face with sadness but had a serious look.

"I don't want you near me. Get out, now. We can't be around one another." Her voice cracked. "I need you to leave from here and never come back to me again." She talked in a low voice. "You are a waste of my time!" He flinched in confusion.

Is that really Marinette that said that? "C'mon, princess . . ." He chuckled under his breath. Chat was afraid and nervous. "You can't be serious, can you?" He pulled her close by the wrist and kissed her. She mumbled and pushed his chest away. She whipped up her hand like the Eiffel Tower and let it loose. It moved to its enjoyment and lowered down swiftly and touched his cheek as the skin moved. Marinette slapped Chat.

"You stupid cat! I like someone else!" She hissed.

He was in shock. Everything, starting from their sweet kisses and long hugs to their giggles and talks. She raised up her hand once again, almost about to hit his cheek again hard. He opened his mouth. "I'll go. Goodbye." He walked towards the window, and opened it. Chat jumped on the edge, holding the sides. Slowly, he turned around to see Marinette. She had her back towards him and stuck out her left leg as she stood. Her elbows were bent and she tucked them into her chest. He turned back around to look at the streets. "I love you, princess." He whispered so quiet, he couldn't even hear his sentence come out of his throat. From there, he leaped back into the city.

SOSOSOSOSO SORRY I REALLY WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING NEW & I THOUGHT THIS CHAPTER WOULD TURN THINGS AROUND SO YESYESYES I NEEDED SOME CONFLICT IN THIS STORY SO YOURE WELCOME HERES THE TURNING POINT !!!!! i hope you enjoyed this chapter ((:: i update almost everyday & im planning on having this chapter go on & end with at least thirty or so chapters !!!! thank youuuuuu
