madness

Razors dance across my wrist,

As you dance in tiny raindrops.

All i hear is deathly silence,

As you hear children laughing,

Noises like splashing and horns honking,

You smile and think of me.

As i hear the sound crying and water running,

I frown and think of you.

Your raindrops turn to storms,

The bathtub is overflowing,

With the water red,

My cries are quieting,

The sound of laughter and slashing dies,

The storm is too strong.

Winds of waves crashing against the walls,

You made me hate my own reflection!

I scream, whilst pounding my fist into mirror.

The glass shatters, springing everywhere.

Little cuts are freshly made into my torn skin.

Laughing, i stare into the broken glass,

As i carve a smile, a crooked, broken smile into my face.

We're all mad here.
