IMAGINE: Being part of Caspian's crew

You sit on the bow of the Dawn Treader, savoring the wind whipping against your hair and the salty air tingling your skin. You close your eyes and sigh, smiling.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Caspian asks from behind you. Your eyes fly open and you turn around to look at your captain, blushing at him catching you being lackadaisical.

"It is. It's mesmerizing." You say, starting to get up.

Caspian motions you to stop and smiles at you. "It's okay, Y/N. I was the same way you are when I was on my first trip out to sea." He admits.

Caspian looks out to the sea and you follow his gaze. "Does the feeling ever go away?" You ask, glancing at him.

He looks at you and shrugs. "For me it hasn't. Maybe it's intensified more, I know not." He answers.

You sigh, smiling. "I hope it doesn't go away. I like the feeling." You murmur.

Caspian puts a hand on your shoulder and squeezes it lightly. "You're going to make a great part of the crew, Y/N. Your love for the sea is contagious. I'm happy to have you here." He says.

You smile at him, honored. "Thank you, captain. I'm happy to be here." You say.

"Man over board!" A sailor suddenly screams. Caspian and you whirl around. "Wait, no! Men overboard! Men and-and... woman?" The sailor says, leaning over the side of the ship, squinting.

"What in the world." Caspian breathes, dashing off the bow. You follow him.

Caspian and the sailor dive off the Dawn Treader into the water to save the people in the water. You bite your lip, before plunging into the water, as well. Caspian, the sailor, and you swim madly to the people.
You grab one of the young men as Caspian grabs the young woman, and the sailor grabs the other boy.

"Caspian!" The girl says in surprise.

"Lucy!" Caspian exclaims incredulously.

"Caspian." The boy you have says, grinning at your captain.

"Edmund! My goodness, how are you both?" Caspian asks.

"Wet!" The other boy screams. You frown at his obnoxiousness.

"That's Eustace, our cousin." Lucy tells Caspian.

"Well, your cousin is right. You're wet. We'll get you on board." Caspian says.

"Lucy, Edmund, I'd like you to meet Y/N, my latest member to join our crew. And the one who bravely jumped off the ship to save you, Edmund." Caspian says, smiling proudly at you. You beam as you hand Edmund and Lucy blankets, while Eustace lies passed out on the deck.

"Thank you, Y/N. I appreciate that." Edmund says, smiling at you. You smile at him and nod, before wrapping yourself into a blanket.

"I can't believe you're back in Narnia. It's so wonderful to see you both. How is Peter and Susan faring?" Caspian asks, as he, Edmund, Lucy, and you sit down.

"Quite well." Lucy answers.

"We're not sure why we're back in Narnia, Caspian. Especially with Eustace." Edmund says. The four of you look at the boy passed out on the deck and you smother your laugh with a cough. You shake your head and rub your mouth. Caspian catches your eye and he stares at you, his eyes alight with humor. You grin at him.

He flashes you a smile before turning to look at Edmund and Lucy. "I'm not sure why you're back in Narnia, but I'm positive you will find out." He says.
