"Y/N is wounded!" Edmund Pevensie screams, dragging you across the war torn battle field as the War of Deliverance takes place. You groan in pain, your hand clutching your bloody, flesh-ragged stomach.
"Give her to us." Susan Pevensie says.
"Quickly, Ed! You have to watch Peter's back and Y/N is bleeding badly!" Lucy exclaims. Edmund hands you over to his two sisters.
"You're going to be all right." Lucy says comfortingly as Susan and she half carry, half drag you to a healer. You close your eyes to try and squeeze out the pain.
Susan glances worriedly at Lucy. "Hurry." She mouths as they move more quickly.
---
You wake up and sit upright. You cry out in pain, gasping. You rest back down and look around. You're alone in a large room. Your dirty, bloody clothes lay in a pile at the other end of the room. You lightly touch your bandaged stomach and swallow.
"Hey." You croak out. You cough. "Hey!" You say more loudly, your voice hoarse.
A few seconds later, Susan and Lucy come into the room. "You're up." Lucy says in surprise.
"How long have I been out for?" You ask. The two sisters glance at each other.
"A few days." Susan answers.
"Is the battle over?" You ask, your eyebrows drawn. Susan nods, smiling.
"Is Caspian all right?" You ask worriedly, thinking about your best friend and lover.
"He's fine, he's fine. He's been waiting to see you, Y/N. The healer wouldn't let him in the room." Lucy replies.
Susan nods her agreement. "He's quite worried." She says.
"You can bring him in." You say, smiling. The Pevensie sisters leave and a few minutes later, Caspian comes rushing into the room.
"Y/N." He breathes with relief, stopping at your bedside. You smile tiredly at him. "You look exhausted." He whispers.
"Have you taken a look at yourself lately?" You murmur, laughing softly. "Help me up, will you?" You ask. "My stomach is killing me." You grit out as Caspain holds your upper half in his arms and gently puts you into a sitting position.
"What happened?" He asks, sitting beside you on your bed, his arm around your shoulders.
"I was watching you. I got distracted and... I was stabbed." You state.
Caspian grimaces. "Why were you watching me?" He asks.
You look at him and cup his face with your one hand. "I wanted to make sure you were all right." You whisper. Caspian smiles and turns his head to kiss your hand.
"So are you blaming me for your wound then?" He asks, smirking.
"No, of course not." You chuckle, slightly shaking your head. "I should've known that you were going to be fine." You add.
"You know what scared me the most?" He asks.
Your eyebrows draw. "No, what?" You inquire.
"When I didn't see you on the battle field." Caspian whispers, his eyes filled with worry. You see moisture floating there and he blinks, looking away.
"I was so scared, Y/N. I thought you were killed." He whispers. You rub his back and he shakes his head, sniffling.
"I'm okay now, Caspian." You whisper.
He looks at you and smiles a little. "I know." He replies.
Caspian leans towards you and kisses you softly. You sigh, kissing him back. You wrap your arm around him and lean your head on his shoulder. He rests his head on yours and you close your eyes.
"Can we just stay like this for a while?" You whisper.
"I don't think the healer is going to like that very much." Caspian laughs.
You giggle. "I don't care." You say. You look up at him. "Caspian?" You say.
"Yes, Y/N?" He asks.
"I love you." You say.
He smiles and kisses your head. "I love you too." He whispers, holding you closer.
[THE END] I hope you liked it!
