Chapter Seven : Questions, An Argument, And A Surprise

Bashful P.O.V

    I was breathing hard and was sweating tremendously. I looked around to see many people here but my vision was slightly blurry. After awhile I was able to see that I was in the infirmary on a bed. I saw that Abby, Queen Delightful and the guys around me looking worried and confused.

    'What happened?' I thought. I looked at the ground to see someone on the ground. When I looked at the person more I saw that the figure was Cali but she didn't look to well. She looked exhausted and in a lot pain which scared me. Next to me I saw a guy which I didn't know but he seemed worried about Cali for some reason. I tried to think what  may had happened when I was unconscious for who knows how long. Abby then looked at me with scared eyes. 

    "Bashful are you alright?" asked Abby slowly.

    "I think so." I replied unsure but then I suddenly had another headache but it wasn't to painful and nobody seemed to notice. At least I don't think some one notice. 

    "What the cheese just happened?!" asked Grumpy.

    "It seems that Cali somehow was able to wake up Bashful but it may have caused her to hurt herself somehow." explained Seto. After he said that I felt a huge aching sensation in my stomach. I felt that it was my fault that Cali was in pain.

    "It isn't your fault Bashful." said Abby soothingly as if she read my mind. After coming a down a bit the door suddenly opened and Lord Starchbottom entered.

    "Queen Delightful is everything..." Starchbottom started but trailed off as he saw us looking at him.

    "Did I miss something?" asked Starchy

    "Yup you missed them waking up Bashful and she fainted afterwards." Happy stated happily as he was pointing at Cali, Abby, and the guy who I don't know.

    "Nice way to say that cheerfully." said Grumpy in sarcasm. 

    "Thank you." he said not noticing the sarcasm. Grumpy rolled his eyes.

I saw that the stranger was starting to carry Cali to a bed and then he began to check her if she was alright or not. I wanted to talk to the stranger so I slowly went to the side of the bed and stood up carefully to talk to him formally.

    "Are you sure you can stand?" asked Abby as she tried to help me. I nodded and stood up slowly and walked to him by myself.

    "Is she okay?" I asked the guy. He looked at me and shrugged.

    "I don't know for sure but she seems fine." he explained with worried eyes. I looked her sadly.

    "Oh and by the way my name is Seto." he said while putting his hand out. I grabbed his hand and shook it.

    "Nice to meet you Seto, I'm-" I began at but the he cut me off.

    "Bashful I know I was ordered by the queen to check on you." he explained.

    "Well thank you." I said.

    "Don't thank me, you should be thanking her. She was the one who woke you up." he said looking at Cali. He was right. I should be thanking Cali.

    "Do you know Cali?" I asked.

    "Cali and I met Seto while we went to check on you." explained Abby.

    "Yeah we realized we were going to the same place when Cali and I bumped into each other and she fell down." he said looking embarrassed but he was slightly blushing.

    "Is there something else that I don't know about?" I asked raising my eyebrow. Abby smirked.

    "Well after they introduced each other they may have not let go of each other's hands after Seto helped her back up." explained Abby. I looked at Seto who was blushing even more. I chuckled lightly.

    "Stopped teasing them Abby." I instructed smugly. She started to pout and Seto smiled and looked at me thankfully.

    "Bashful where have you been for the two days?" asked Sneezy interrupting us. I saw everyone looking at us.

    "I uh." I began at. How do I explain this.

    "He was probably hiding the whole time because he was to scared." said Grumpy. The others except Abby and Seto seemed to agree.

    "That seems very likely." said Doc.

    "Yeah." said Sleepy. Dopey whistled.

    "So were you Bashful?" asked Sneezy. My mind was then clouded with anger and sadness. They could be so insensitive sometimes! Before I can do anything someone groaned lightly. I turned to see Cali sitting up and holding her head in pain. She opened her eyes slowly and looked at me.

    "Bashful you need to calm down." she said in a small voice that could still be heard by everyone. How did she know I was angry.

    "What are you talking about lady?" asked Grumpy who didn't see her in pain.

    "He doesn't look angry." stated Doc.

    "Yeah, how would you know huh?" questioned Sneezy.

    "I just do." she explained softly.

    "Well then tell us how?" asked Sleepy. Dopey was in the back making a lot of noise as if agreeing to that statement.

    "I demand you to tell us how would you know." instructed Starchy looking at Cali in her eyes.

    "I agree." said Queen Delightful in a demanding tone. Cali was starting to flinch and her eyes filled with panic but they didn't seem to notice and asked her even more questions which seemed to get louder and louder. Then suddenly someone stopped the mayhem.

    "STOP TALKING!!!" Shouted Seto. Every one was silent. This guy could have a mean temper.

    "Can't you see that Cali is in pain from your shouting!" he shouted.

    "So your shouting too!" stated Grumpy. The others agreed.

    "At least it made you guys shut up." he said. Wow this guy has a really mean temper.

    "Leave this place now since you've disrespected the Queen." ordered Starchy.

    "At least I won't have to look at your faces again." he remarked before leaving. Cali walked quickly to catch up with him. Abby followed Cali to make sure she was alright.

    "Man they're jerks." said Sneezy.

    "Yeah." agreed everyone. I started to get angry again. How dare they say that to them. Before I knew it my anger exploded!

    "AT LEAST THEY AREN'T INSENSITIVE JERKS WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT ME MORE THAN ALL OF YOU!!!" I screamed at them. I started to cry but I was still yelling.

    "THEY DON'T SAY STUFF LIKE THAT AT ME LIKE YOU PEOPLE DO. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I WAS ABLE TO STAND YOU GUYS FOR THIS LONG BUT I GUESS I CAN'T ANYMORE." I yelled again and ran out of the room crying hard.

    "Bashful!" exclaimed everyone but I ignored them and ran faster. I ran outside and saw Abby, Cali and Seto but I went past them still crying.

    "Bashful wait!" yelled Abby but I ran into the forest filled with anger and sadness. After a while I felt myself grow tired and I collapsed leaning on a tree. My vision grew hazy and my whole body ached everywhere even my throat ached and my eyes stung but I somehow blacked out still and I peacefully fell asleep well until the nightmares happened again
