Peter took a deep breath. The aliens had given him something, and his heart was beating like new. They wanted to be able to do their tests.
Yunistein had come alone this time.
"Sit in the wheelchair." His voice conveyed coldness. He understood that he had long ago lost the trust of these disgusting creatures. They'd lost his before they could even earn it.
Who kidnaps someone from a hospital, anyway?
Peter did as they asked, begrudgingly.
Needles were stuck into him. Things were wrapped around him, and unwrapped. Other things were given to him to drink and to eat.
Everything happened in a blur. He sweated. There was blood here and there. Saliva stained the blankets. Urine and stool had become part of the mess on the floor.
By the time Yunistein had left, Peter was covered in bandages, urine, blood, saliva, and stool. What he had just gone through would scar him forever.
