There once was a man who was driving along the road at night. He was getting really tired so he decided to stop at the nearest hotel and spend the night there. He parked his car and walked into the hotel. He asked the lady at the counter if he could stay the night and she handed him a key.
"Room 70" she said. " But whatever you do, don't look in the room next to yours. The one without a number."
"Why not?" asked the man.
"Just don't" the woman replied.
So the man went up to his room.
-------------------------------------------------------------
In the middle of the night, the man woke up to a scratching noise on the wall next to him. He got up and realised it was coming from the room next door. So he went outside. He didn't want to open the door after what the lady had said, so he looked through the peek hole. All he saw was a girl dancing.
'That's not that bad' he thought.
He went back into his room and went back to sleep, but the scratching sound kept going.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The next day he woke up, grabbed his things, and headed downstairs. When he walked past the room next door, curiosity got the better of him, and he looked through the peek hole again. But, this time, all he saw was the colour red. He thought it was just red duct tape or a red curtain, so he kept going.
When the man reached the foyer, he told the lady at the counter what he had seen through the peek hole.
"I don't see how a dancing woman is that bad" the man said.
"Oh no! You looked inside the room without the number?" the lady cried. "A little girl died in there a few years ago! Her hair was black as the night and her skin was ghostly white. And if you look directly into her eyes, you will die a very gruesome death soon after!"
The man shuddered.
'At least I didn't look into her eyes' he thought.
"And the creepiest part is that her eyes are blood red!"
