When We Almost Fell Apart (A Playful Kiss Fanfiction)

Here I am, standing like an idiot  wondering where that stupid girl is and why hasn't she come home yet. I must've gotten crazy. Why am I even worried about her? Just let her do what she wants. I shouldn't be caring. Right. I should just probably go up in my room and let mom do the waiting for her. 

Just when I was entering our house, I heard Hani's voice talking to someone so I hid and listened to her cheerful voice conversing with my sunbae. Jealousy stupidly grows within me especially hearing her talk to him in a manner that she should only use when she's talking to me. 

"Let's have this date a part two?" 

"Goodnight, I had fun today."

I laughed internally. I know Hani will never try to date anyone else. She only likes me. 

"Ki Tae sunbae! I'll be looking forward for the part two!"

I couldn't believe she actually agreed to date him again. 

*Oh Ha Ni*

"Looks like you had fun" 

I was startled. I knew very well who was talking to me even without looking. But wait, is that jealousy I'm hinting? Pabo Hani. You really like to create false hopes for yourself. 

"Yeah, I did. Ki Tae sunbae was very -----" he cuts me off,

"I don't care. I just want you to remember that even though you live here, you can't just go home anytime you wish to, my mom keeps waiting for you. You're such a bothersome." He says coldy. Right. Who am I kidding anyway?

"You're right. Sorry." 

Without any further hesitations, he went back inside and I quickly followed. We directly went to our separate rooms without anymore words. 

*Baek Seung Jo*

Why did I even say those cold words? I'm so stupid. Is this how jealousy affects me? I hate myself for caring so much about her but not knowing how to show her. I went to my window, opened it a bit and started talking to the wind. 

"Ya Oh Ha Ni, I'm sorry for saying those words. I didn't mean them. Next time, don't come home late with a guy, it doesn't make me feel good. Also, don't just agree to a second date."

Pabo, if you're trying to make me jealous, then you're really succeeding. A few moments later, Ha Ni came barging into my room. 

"Mwo? Don't just agree to a second date? It doesn't make you feel good?" She seems upset but she's definitely trying to hide her happiness. 

Stupid. I am so stupid. I never thought she'd be on her window too. Why did I ever assumed that she's in deep slumber already? 

"Ya Oh Ha Ni, you don't just barge into a man's room. Really, where did your manners go?" I said trying to change the topic.

"Oh? Sorry." she pulled a long face again. 

"Don't get me wrong, I feel sorry because I spoiled your fun. I said that don't go home late with a man and don't just agree to have a second date because we're still responsible of you, what if that man does something bad to you? Our family will be bothered again." 

I sighed. Again, wrong choice of words. What the hell is wrong with me? 

"Araseo. I'm sorry for being such a bothersome. I'll try not to go home late again. Goodnight then." 

With that, she left with a fake smile.
