You spend the entire morning watching GOT7 fanmeet videos to prepare yourself for what to expect. They're finally having another set of fan meetings and you're stoked. The only bad thing is that you don't have any merchandise on you.. You don't have any wearable merchandise. Period. You just have a fan slogan that you ordered once folded away in your purse and figured that was enough and you'd record on your way.
Ding.
A V app notification for GOT7 broadcasting before the fanmeet. You're taking the bus and decide you have time to watch. Once it opens, you're greeted immediately by Mark and Junior. Mark is holding the camera, as usual. Youngjae is eating on the floor. JB never wants to be in the shot. Jackson and Bambam are screaming in the background. And Yugyeom taunts Jinyoung but you notice Jinyoung looks a little annoyed. For real this time. You watch him leave the shot, where Jackson takes his place, and Mark goes back to being very quiet while Jackson talks about how 'Real Men' filming went with BamBam.
The V broadcast went on for over 20 minutes-- and you missed your stop. Smacking your palm against your forehead, you get off at the next stop and rush to catch the next subway going back to the direction of the fanmeet. Frazzled and in a daze, worried about Jinyoung looking sullen and frustrated, you kind of zoned out sitting in your seat with your purse hanging wide open. An unfamiliar being sits next to you-- and you could feel a stare boring into the side of your head. Annoyed, you looked to the side as if you were going to sneer and tell the weird fellow to look away.. But to your surprise, it was Jinyoung in sunglasses and a hat. He was wearing Mark's clothing that you just saw in the V broadcast. But why?
He wasn't even looking at you as much as he was looking at the fan slogan you had of him hanging out of your bag. Once he found your gawking stare, he pressed a finger to your lips to tell you to shut up so that no one could find him. He was getting away for a while, you figured, as he disguised himself in clothing other than his.
"If you don't scream or freak out or whatever, I'll buy you noodles. Deal?" All you could do was agree in confusion.
"What is your name?"
You don't answer because.. You forgot your name.
"No? No name? Okay, I'll name you. Your name is ..uh ..your codename is little bear. My codename is big bear. Don't call me by my name in public, got it?"
You nodded.
The next stop took you to a street close to JYPE center. You followed him to a convenience store where he bought two bowls of instant cup noodles, kimchi, and lotte sodas. He walked out and waved you over to follow him. He took you to the back of the center where he made the noodles in the staff lounge. You quietly sit with noodles in hand, watching him eat deliciously, slurping the noodles in without taking a breath. You kind of feel relieved-- it almost felt fated that you missed your stop.
"Aren't you going to eat?" he asked. "If you're not.. I'll gladly take the noodles back."
With your mouth hanging open, you handed the noodles over. It just made you happy to see him eating well. You wanted to ask him what was wrong but decided against getting into his business.
In mid-sip of what was left of the broth, he stopped to give you a concerned look.
"Are you okay? Aren't you curious about me? I see you must be my fan since you have my face in your bag." He laughed. His eye crinkle laugh. He was tired but still so kind. Shyly, you shook your head 'no' and rubbed your arm. It was a nervous habit you had.
"Perhaps, I don't make you uncomfortable, do I? I'm really grateful that you helped me get away looking like a normal person." His voice sounded deep, and soft, like the feeling of a freshly washed blanket wrapping around you while it's still warm from the dryer. He placed his hand on your head, petting you as if you did a good job, smiling a smile that gave his lips the shape of a crescent moon. "Thank you, little bear. Really. I won't forget you."
