There I was. Sitting nervously on the couch in the living room, afraid of what's about to escape my parents mouths.
"Mum, what's wrong? Why do you and dad look so...upset?" I questioned as I looked down and played with my fingers.
"Honey, your moving to New Jersey to live with your aunt. Ever since her husband passed away, she's been extremely lonely, she needs you, Melanie." My mum answered.
"WAIT, by myself?!" I quickly stood up in shock. My parents nodded. My eyes began getting teary. "Well, I guess I better get packing," I say with a fake smile, I've never let anyone see me cry. I don't like it. It makes me feel like when I cry, the entire world is watching me.
As I packed, tears fell down my eyes like waterfalls. I have no body in New Jersey, only my aunt. I'm going to feel so lonely when I go there, it's so beautiful here in LA. I have so many friends and relatives here, there I have no one.
