My jaw dropped. Man she was beautiful. The way here blonde her cascaded down her shoulder, and the way her bright, blue eyes sparkled.
"I'm Ethan," I say putting my hand out to shake.
"Melanie," she says back as we greet each other.
"My, what a beautiful name for a beautiful young lady!" I chuckle. She laughs. Man, her laugh is absolutely adorable, the way she snorts between her laughs- my weakness.
// MELANIE'S POV \\
Oh lord. Their hair. Their smile. Their touch. Everything. They're amazing. I feel like we are all going to have a long history. Mia then spoke after we all greeted each other,
"So, Ethan, Mel," she says, "Me and Gray have some news," she says. Ethan and I look at each other with wide eyes, "Mia and I are officially together!" Grayson finally spits out. Oh, well that's one twin crush off the list- at least I still have Ethan. Mia and Grayson both jump up and hug each other.
"Congrats, bud!" Ethan says with the biggest smile on his face. I congratulate them both and give them both hugs. My auntie then comes downstairs,
" Melanie, I have another little surprise for you," she says as she places her hands on my shoulder,
"Mia will officially be your roommate! She's living with us now!" She exclaimed.
"OH MY GOD!! NO WAY! THIS IS AMAZING!" I say as I squeeze the living shit out of Mia. Grayson and Mia wanted to go somewhere, so Ethan and I decided to hang out. So, the minute they left we both say on the couch and turned on Netflix.
"What do you wanna watch?" I ask as I flick through the movies,
"I don't have a clue, why don't you pick?" He offers. I nodded,
"Mean girls?" I suggested,
"Oh that's SO FETCH!" Ethan says in an over exaggerated white girl accent. I crack up laughing because of his "phenomenal" impersonation. I walk to the kitchen and begin popping the popcorn.
"You popping the popcorn?" He says walking to the kitchen as the movie begins to play. I nod,
"Well, no, I'm just putting popcorn in the microwave for the birds outside!" I say sarcastically. Ethan lets out a laugh.
Oh his laugh is priceless.
One the popcorn was finished I put it in the bowl and continued watching the movie. Ethan and I really bonded in that moment. We shared a few laughs and smiles.
A few? Nah. Who am I kidding, a million handfuls of laughs and smiles.
"Melanie?" He asks adorably nervous.
"Yes, Eth?" I replied. I felt his hand overlap onto mine. He scooted a bit closer to me,
"I-I-I know that th-this is really out of the blue but, your the first girl to actually make me this happy. I feel like we have something...special..." He says as he plays with my fingers. I smiled.
"Well, you know what Ethan?" I say moving extremely close.
"I feel something too. More like..a spark.." I add as I rub his arm up and down.
We both leaned in...
