I hungrily ate the sandwiches Isaac had made. He told me he wasn't the best cook but I really didn't care. I was hungry. Isaac was watching me eating as well. He smiled at me. It was a shy smile but still a smile. It morphed into a frown when someone knocked on the door.

"What is it?" Isaac growled.

A guy with shaggy brown hair who I assumed was a Beta walked in. He was about to answer when he noticed me.

"This is my mate Daisy," Isaac explained. "Daisy this my Beta Scott,"

"Luna," Scott nodded to me.

"Uh just call me Daisy," I responded feeling embarrassed but I didn't know why.

Scott nodded smirking at me.

"Well?" Isaac asked Scott.

"Storm has been sighted," Scott explained.

"I heard," Isaac responded. "I'll go deal with it you stay here and watch Daisy. Just don't try anything with her or I will hunt you down and make you wish you'd never been born,"

With that Isaac left.

"He's uh..." I didn't even have the words to describe that.

Scott just laughed. "Scary? Yeah I know,"

Scott sat down beside me. I felt awkward has he noticed my wheelchair.

"I was in a car accident now my wolf is gone and I can't shift," I said before he could ask.

"That sucks," Scott remarked.

"You don't so," I muttered. "I'll just be a nuisance. I don't usually think about it but I'm just going to a nuisance to this pack if I become Luna,"

"The pack is gonna be curious yeah but if anyone says anything Isaac will just deal with them," Scott reassured me.

"That doesn't help," I responded.

Scott rolled his eyes. "Why don't you just get some of those fancy leg braces or something?"

"What?"

"Don't tell me you've never seen them,"

"I'm sure I've heard of them but I guess I never thought about it much," I responded. "Besides they are way expensive,"

"Isaac will get them for you I promise you," Scott told me.

"That would just be a bother,"

"Oh please who cares?" Scott asked. "The pack would all pitch in if you asked them they'd do anything for their Luna,"

"I doubt that," I muttered.

"Oh please have you ever been in a pack?" He asked. "People love Luna's,"

"My old pack never had a Luna," I responded. "Well they did but she died when I was six,"

"What pack was that?"

"Red Moon but I got kicked out two years ago because I can't walk," I muttered.

"Geez Derek's a d**k," Scott growled.

I couldn't stop myself from smiling. I liked Scott. I liked that he didn't seem to care I couldn't walk. I liked that Isaac didn't care either. But I was worried about what the pack would think.
