Chapter 6

So as I'm walking up the courtyard Carson charges down towards me.
He picks me up and takes me to the alleyway next to the school. I can see the confused looks on everyone's faces. They probably all mirrored my look.

"Carson!? What the hell." I yell at him as soon as he puts me down.

"I needed to talk to you." He says innocently which makes me automatically forgive him.

"Okay."

"Well the  dance is next Friday." He drags off.

"Okay and..."

"We should not go together."

"Excuse me!?" What the hell is this kid thinking he asks me out then doesn't even want to go to a school dance with me.

"No like we go separately then at the dance were inseparable."

"Carson that makes no sense."

"Yeah it does no one knows that were dating yet. Well I told Alex."

"Well I told Kali," I say mocking his tone, "but it does make sense kind of." I confess.

"Right. People will never expect that."

"Okay whatever you say Carson. But you better hope Alex or Kali haven't told anyone." I say just to get it out there.

"They were the first people I told so they haven't yet." He winks and picks me back up.

When we reach the courtyard he puts me down and goes back to his group.
I walk to mine and get questioned right away. I answer only a couple and go inside. The bells rings on my way to my locker so I have like five minutes until school starts. So I walk to my locker and grab my binder and social studies book and go to advisory.

In advisory our teacher gave us a speech about college and to start thinking about our futures. Now I get to go to art yayy.

Art sucks like I love art but I hate the teacher. She's a bitch and she can't even draw a good flower.

I have only one thing to look forward to in art and its Amber she was my best friend last year but we drifted apart but were still partly best friends if that makes sense.

We tell each other everything.

After art we go to gym and we head straight to the weight room. Ambers not very active but I take sports and working out very seriously.

After my intense workout I head to the showers. After that I put my hair into a ponytail because its not straight anymore. I grab my stuff and go to math. I sit in my usual spot and see Carson walk in and sit in the seat behind me I turn around.

"Hey."

"Hey. So you wanna come over today I just got a scary movie and I invited Kali and Alex because Alex likes her." He says with a smile.

"No way Kali likes him they'll totally hit it off."

"Really!? This is great." He laughs.

The rest of math class was pretty boring considering I couldn't turn around to talk to Carson. But I knew be was behind me the whole time.

Science he say across from me and we made a catapult out of a science book and a ruler. We launched paper balls and made paper airplanes while our teacher put music on. Its was awesome.

Then we went to lunch. I sat at the table right next to Carson's and we sat next to each other. It was a weird set up.

The rest of the day was boring. We actually had to learn thing but I didn't pay attention much.

At the end of the day I grabbed my stuff from my locker. Carson texted me and it said," Meet me in the alley way." So I head towards the alleyway. I see them all talking and Carson is facing away from me so I jump on his back. He fumbled a little bit but caught himself.

I jump off his back and start walking towards his house.

"They're really hitting it off." Carson whispers. I look at them and see Kali giggling and Alex doing some stupid stuff to impress her.

"Yeah. She really likes him."

"And he really likes her."

"Did you end up figuring put why they didn't want us to date." I ask remembering what Alex had said before.

"No I didn't but I want to know so I'll ask him later. Its Friday so I wanted to do something. Maybe we can go on a official first date?" He asks shyly. He looks nervous.

"I would like that. And where would we go on this date."

"There's a movie going on later."

"That's sounds like fun but the closest movie theater is two hours away."

He laughed and continues,"Yeah but I'm gonna set up a projector outside and we can get a bunch of snacks and blankets." He smiles shyly.

"That's sounds like fun." I say as we reach Carson's house. The boys rush inside and make a bunch of snacks. Kali and I just put our bags down and head to the living room.

Carson and Alex come in with a bunch if snacks and told us to pick out a movie. We settles on a funny movie. Ted 2. I love this movie

So I sit next to Carson and he puts his arm around me and Kali and Alex lay on the floor cuddling. About an hour into the movie Kali is sleeping and Carson has his head in my lap while I'm playing with his hair.

Soon enough the movie is over and we all head to Carson's room. There we grabbed all the stuff we need for the "date" were having later. We grabbed six big blankets, like twenty pillows, a sheet, and a scary movie.

We set up the blankets and pillows and the sheet and put in the CD and got comfortable we weren't really watching the movie but we were talking because it was a date.

"So I was thinking about the dance and I didn't really want to dress up. Its just not my thing." He laughed.

"Oh thank God I wasn't gonna dress up anyway." I laugh

He laughs," Great." Then he just smiled at me and I turn my attention to the movie and it was pretty funny.

I fell asleep for a half hour at the end of the movie but it was a all good. When I woke up we cleaned up and sent back inside and up to Carson's room.

"Why don't you guys just sleep over." Carson suggests.

"I don't think my mom will mind she likes you. Kal you can just say your sleeping over my house and my mom will lie." I say. My mother loves Kali like a daughter.

"Yeah okay let's do that I don't think my mom would be to happy if I asked her to sleep at a teenage hormonal boys house." She say laughing. I join her laughing and I can see Alex tackle
Kali.

"You sure your mom won't care?" Carson asks.

"Yeah she likes you. So I don't think she'll mind." I reassure him.

I texted my mom and as I predicted she didn't mind and she was gonna text Kali's mom and make sure she knows Kali's sleeping over.

"Its only like eight o'clock what should we do." Alex says while he sits on Kali's lap. She pushes him off and he drags her down onto his chest. Damn Alex.

"Well we could go to the beach and swim. It'll be fun." I suggest. I've been to the beach at night a couple times before. Its so fun.

"Why don't we just go for a walk or we can play dare or double dare." Kali says. She's in love with that game she always has been. I don't really know why.
