Jessica's POV:

Today is the day I move.
I'm nervous about what will happen in California. My past is something I want to stay in the past. My past isn't something I promised to not tell anyone, its just something I don't want happening again.

California's somewhere where no one knows me. I can start fresh and make friends. I'm not the type of person who talks to random people randomly.

I'm hoping my aunt didn't forget about me coming. My aunts the type of person who's always out a lot, she's a well, drunk. On my moms will it said I have to live with her sister, my aunt, and every saving etc.. goes to me, since I'm the only child.

I'm currently on my way to the airport, since I'm only 16 I haven't got my permit yet and I have to take a cab. Its sad I have to leave my hometown but I'm not even crying. I had to sale my house I grew up in, the people that bought it let me stay till I left.

I'm so not ready for this plane trip.
Because 1)im going alone 2)will have no one to talk to 3)I might end up talking to myself and will look like an idiot and 4)the security check thingy sucks.

I haven't fully introduce myself.
Well.. My name is Jessica Taylor, yes I know my last name can be a first name, I'm 16, and in 10th grade. Uhh that's it.

I just got out of the security check, finally, and now I'm boarding the plane. I sit in row 4 seat 1, the window seat, yay. At least I'm not in the middle. People start boarding the plane and a dude taller than me with brown hair and blonde highlights sits down next to me. He sees that I was kinda staring and smiled. I smiled back and said hi.

"Haii" I said shyly.

"Hey, my names Ethan" he smiles.

Oml When he smiles you can see his perfect jawline😍

"I'm Jessica"

"Thats a pretty name. And nice to meet you Jessica" he says like he's bowing. I laugh and he does too.

"Nice to meet you too kind sir" I say laughing.

Soon another dude that looks just like Ethan walks on the plane, this one just has a mole or birthmark on his chin. He walks over and his seat is the end by Ethan.

"Hey bro" he says giving Ethan a handshake that's different than others.

"Hey Gray" he replys.

"Gray, this is Jessica, Jessica this is my brother Grayson." Ethan says introducing us.

"Haii" I say sticking out my hand.

"Hey" he says and sticks his carry on's in the cubby above us.

"So what leads you to California?" Ethan ask.

"I'm moving, you?"

"Same, me and gray are moving." He replies.

"What were you doing in Florida?" I say.

"We were visiting some family" gray says butting in.

"Gray" ethan laughs hitting his arm.

"What bro" he says confused.

"Are you too cool to say his name?" I laugh.

"Yup" he says proud of himself. Me and ethan just lasugh at him.

"Anyways... You were in Florida and I haven't saw you around." I say tryna start the convo back up.

"Yea, we stayed in a lot since we had to babysit"

"Sounds...fun" I smile.

"Tots fun" he says in a girly voice.
Again, we start laughing.

Ethan seems like a chill dude and so does Grayson but we haven't talked much. I just now noticed that the plane was off the ground.

~skips plane ride~

Ethan, Grayson and I talked the whole plane ride. We talked about the most randomest stuff and they told me about their YouTube channel and we watched a few of their videos. We exchanged social medias. And that's it.
We board off the plane and go get our luggage. We walked together to the luggage claim and waited for our stuff. We all get over luggage and we walk to the front of the airport and say our good-byes.

"Aw man" I say.

"What's wrong?" They both say at the same time.

"My aunt didn't show"

"That's sucks" gray says.

"Do you wanna ride with us?" Ethan offers.

"You really don't have too offer that"

"No really c'mon" gray says bumping my shoulder.

"Okay, fineee" I say sighing.

They call a cab and I just ride around with them till they get to their apartment, the whole ride we talked about random stuff, again.

"Do y'all live here?"I say excited.

"Yeah, why?" Ethan says.

"My aunt lives down the hall" I laugh.

"WE ARE LIKE NEIGHBORS!" Grayson shouts.

"Shhhh" me and ethan say shushing
Grayson. They walk inside their apartment and I start walking to my aunts apartment.

"Hey, when you're settled in come back over!" Ethan yells, but not that loud as Gray did.

"Okay!" I say walking into my aunts apartment, to my surprise she's not home.

I walk inside to see a note big enough to see that its for me. It says;

Dear Jess,
Your room is to the left and mine is to the right. Hope you find everything easy.
~your aunt, Kate.

Well that's great. My first impressions for my aunt is that she doesn't care about my arrival.

I find my room and settle in.
