*Sunday*

Jessica's POV:

I was woken up by a knock on my door and quickly covered my whole body especially my arms and thighs..

"Come in" I choked out, its Lucas.

"Good morning Jess, my mom wanted me to ask you if you wanted to go to church with us?" he said rubbing his neck.

"I know you haven't been since your mother died, I didn't want to ask." he added rushing.

"I think I'll go." I smiled.

"Really?" his facial expression changed to happy, real quick.

"Yeah, I haven't been to church in a while.."

"Be ready by 9:30." he said walking out my door.

So after he left i looked at the clock on my phone, which was still charging, and saw it was 8:25. So i got about an hour to get ready. So I went into the shower and showered.

Once I got done shaving and washing everything, i got out and went to my room and got dressed. I got dressed in jeans and a long sleeve that is flowery. Even though it was maybe like 80° outside and linda and Lucas may question, oh well. 

"Come on its time to go!" I heard Linda yell and k grabbed my phone and put it in my back pocket and went out my bedroom door.

Church service was now over. But during the service I had to get up and go to the bathroom so I wouldn't cry during the pastor speaking. The pastor was talking about mother's day coming up and like bullying is Satan's doing etc..

"So how'd you like the service, sweetheart?" Linda asked.

"It was good, I liked it. Maybe I'll start going again." I spoke lying at the last part. Its not like I don't want to go to church, but maybe after mother's day is over and stuff, I'll go back.

*next day, Monday*

Monday, yay. Another day of torture. I'm really not ready for this. At least I get to see Ethan and Grayson, haven't seen them in a while.

Its less lonely at school since I know Lucas. Like when Ethan and Grayson aren't there, he's company. Jovani comes around here and there but Lucas is there more. This school year is almost over, its the middle of February and school ends at the end of May, so three more months.

After I got done showering and got dressed, I fixed up my room a bit, so all i did was make my bed, I went to the kitchen seeing Lucas making food, as always.

"Good morning." he smiled finishing the eggs.

"Morning, it smells delicious in here." I said.

"You say that every morning." he laughed.

"And you said that every morning too." I sassed back.

"And that too." he mumbled.

"Shut up." I laughed.

After that little argument, which we have every school morning, we ate and left to go to school. Once we got to school we went our separate ways since Lucas is a Junior(11th grade) and I'm a sophomore(10th grade). He tells me 'be careful, if you need me don't hesitate to holler. Love ya girl' everytime before we separate. And with that I went to my first class.
